Corporal Jason Dunham, was in the Marine corps. He was leading a anti-vehicle squad, but were in vehicles. They were faced with enemy fire, they dismounted. Corporal dumham took a firing team to investigate. They came upon Iraqi vehicles. When Dunham went to search a vehicle, an insurgean popped out. Dunham wrestled him to the ground. The insurgean let go of a live grenade, Dunham alerted his fellow marines to take cover. Dunham put his helmet over it and his body. He made the ultimate sacrifice for his country. He saved the lives of his fellow marines, but died doing it.
Corporal Jason Dunham, you will not be forgotten, nor will any one else fighting for our freedom,
I salute you all.
