Well, I know two people in the GAP at the official Sony forums, and one is a really good friend of mine.

There was a poll on the hidden, GAP only board, and it asked what we would like to have: In-game friends list, in-game music, or in-game XMB, and something else. And so far I do believe people voted for in-game XMB.

So I'm sure they are actually working on it, despite peoples belief of Sony not doing anything.

This isn't a rumor, it is just something going down at the GAP about something really important.

Actually, it is pretty bad.

People don't seem to realize you can't turn off music in most games. So your music will clash with the games music and sound very "not worth it."

Gamepro and probably other game review sites just announced in game XMB
