Ehh, Flora decided to conviniently get a crush on Bulby, meaning, of course, that Aisumaru will probably end up meeting with Mimi really soon.

Oh, and Armohny, it wasn't really intended for us to have the same pokemon...though, if we were to continue with that, Aisumaru would probably end up borrowing a whole ton of Pokemon from Mimi for breeding...considering the whole gender thing and everything. xd I actually meant it in the sense that I didn't want us to have exactly the same pokemon...variety is nice.

crystylaquazz: Lol, it would be really funny if Aisumaru used all of Mimi's Pokemon for breeding. I think that at the very beginning here, the Pokemon we catch are going to be the same just because there's such a small amount. I can honestly tell you that by the time we get to Mt. Moon, we should see more variety in our teams.

bang b a z o o k a: You should probably level up your Pokemon a lot. Especially since you're a coordinator and you aren't sure about challenging the gyms, you might need the extra EXP that you'll miss out on if you choose to not do the gyms.

Lol...yeah. But we seem to be zooming through this RP much faster than the last time. Which is definitely a good thing...I think, for this RP, I will make it so that we travel to the sevii islands from Cinnabar, instead of waiting until the end to do them all. Usually, you would only be able to do the first 3 islands, then have to go back. But I think I might let us just do them all and make taking on the Pokemon League VERY last.

P.S. I'm almost done posting. I think I'll have you reply first, then have Mimi come back into the picture.

Lol...it is cute though! I was thinking...you know, maybe you don't need a breeding center to get Pokemon eggs? It would be an interesting twist to the RP, but it would also be good for breeders! I can imagine Mimi fighting with Aisumaru on who gets the egg. Since she loves cute things so much, she'd really want the baby Pokemon, lol!

Oh yeah, don't forget about the Valentine's Event! It's gonna open on Feb. 7-8th. It's gonna be in Vermillion City (in the event thread though, not in the kanto region). Remember that events are separate from the RP though. But I think that at the rate we're going, we're probably going to be close to Vermillion around the same time as the event! But we can't have what happens in the event and in the main RP mix. Because we will be going aboard the S.S. Anne in the main RP. (Oh yeah - the event is a cruise on the S.S. Anne for Valentine's day 4laugh ).

We are going to have so much fun during that event though! I think what we should do is like have the event take place in the future sometime, where we come back to Vermillion just for the cruise. We'd be older too...sweet! whee Well, that's just a thought at least. We can throw around some other ideas too.

I know, a whole month! But I've made my decision and that's the opening date. I really don't want to have people sitting around waiting for the cruise and then get all RP-ed out before the good stuff! It also gives me time to set up the guild and announce the event. This kind of thing usually brings people to the guild. I'll set up the homepage all Valentine-zy, maybe? 4laugh

Besides, once the event starts, we'll be focused almost completely on that and not on the main RP. So, since things are just getting started with us, we need this time to get a good foundation with our story. Once we're kinda settled in and all definitely traveling together, we can focus more on the Valentine's Event.

And if there are any issues with why/how they went back to Vermillion just for a stupid cruise or why they were still traveling together (because I was thinking about that myself), it could very well be that (if it took place in the future) they were on their Johto journey at that point. Johto does have a train that runs from Johto to Kanto. Oh! And actually, in the G/S/C games you first get to Kanto from Johto by the S.S. Aqua which takes you right to (dun duh duh da!) Vermillion City! So if you think about it, it all works out perfectly.

And since Johto doesn't have a Pokemon League (it's the same as Kanto...Indigo Pleateau) we could say they were there for Mimi to challenge the Pokemon League again, or something like that. I want to make the Pokemon League REALLY interesting in this guild! I think it's the one thing I'm going to follow the anime vs. the game on. That way, we won't end up with a million winners too. I might do the same for the last contest rank (I'm sure it has a big name in the anime, but I don't know what it is because I never watched it). I can put the Pokemon Leagues/last contests in the Event forum too!

The Grand Festival! That's the name! I never watched it, but I saw a commercial about it on TV when it was airing on Cartoon Network. Five ribbons, huh? Hmm...Well, good news anyway: with the help of Irondino, I think I finally came up with what to do with the Poffin issue! And the poffin is going to play into the Visual (physical appearance) portion of contests! That's one thing taken care of at least...

The thing about breeders is that the very nature of the career makes it so that they wouldn't have to participate in contests or anything like that. It seems to me that they live only to raise Pokemon (and maybe test their abilities in battle now and then to see how well they're raising them). To me, breeders always seemed like informal Pokemon doctors, you know? Like, a combination of a Pokemon doctor and a researcher. That's my opinion anyway. Breeding is really cool though. If you haven't gotten a chance to play the new Pokemon Diamond or Pearl games, I suggest that you do. Breeding is a lot easier to do in those games, especially since a lot of new baby Pokemon were introduced. I've got a few guidebooks for it and you can read all about breeding in them. It's so cool. You wouldn't believe how strong your Pokemon can be through good breeding!
