He has made so many accomplishments in his life so far,and I can't wait to see what he'll do next.

David Robert Jones was born January 8,1947 in Brixton,England. He was in his first band in 1964, and had been active ever since. His original last name [Jones] was changed in order to cause less confusion of the already know Davey Jones of The Monkeys. To gain bit of a popularity,he made a short subject film named 'Love You Till Tuesday'.The movie contained a medley of songs from his first album and 'When I'm Five"and "Ching-a-Ling".
In the 70's, he gained high amounts of popularity and commercial success. He recorded and released 11 albums through 1970 to 1979.
In the 1980's, Bowie became for mainstream for a short period of time. His "Lets Dance" album was his second highest charting album in the U.S,yet it sold the most copies. He stared in the cult classic film "Labyrinth" staring him and Jennifer Connelly.
In the late 80's and early 90's, David was in a band,"Tin Machine". They released two studio albums and one live record.In the later 90's, he got into Electronica.Through the 90's,he released 6 new albums.
From 1999 to now,he has worked with many new artists and bands, such as Placebo and Arcade Fire. his last performance to date was in May 2007,with no new one to be announced.
