I want to do a webshow like the iCarly webshow... only on Youtube. It could be lots of fun, my friends could help and it might be kinda popular...
What do you think?? Do you think it's a good idea??

Well, I think it's something you should talk to your friends about, first and foremost. I mean, you can't do it without their help, right? So if they're interested, then you should start working things out. It's best to decide on who does what and who is named what [who is the producer? who is the director?] before you begin. Then write it down and have everyone sign it. That way, when it comes time to post it, there won't be any arugments about who gets what title and that kind of thing.
I also don't think you should expect it to be popular right away. Things like that can take a while to catch on, especially if you weren't already popular from other things. It's true, everyone starts somewhere, but youtube is also filled with these kinds of things already. I'm not saying this to discourage you, but just to let you know so that you don't post it thinking you'll get a thousand views and comments in one night. It will take time.
If you're going to do it, make sure to have fun with it. smile I'd advise you not to be too scripted. Be free and be loose, you know? Don't rehearse beforehand. The best kinds of things often happen without warning. Spontaneity is going to be your best friend in this case. But don't let things get too out of hand. No extreme daredevil tricks. The last thing you want to do is have a videotape of your best friend's death.
Finally, you should think about how you're going to record this before you do anything. Do you have a video camera? A webcam? Can you borrow a video camera? That kind of thing.
