I was remembering about all of my custom weapons in Path of Radiance the other day so I thought I'd make a topic about it. As in... what custom weapons did you make? Who were they for and how good were they? Oh, and their colour... here's a few of mine, off the top of my head.
My very first weapon was a pink Slim Sword for Mia called 'Rose', but, it was REALLY bad so I remade a better one instead called 'Dawnrose' after one of my character's names.
I had Stacey the green axe for Boyd and Lacey the red axe for Kieran... and two more red axes called Gigasmash and Alpha Male. I think Gigasmash was the best of them.xD
Tormod has an excellent fire tome dubbed 'Hot Fuzz' and Ilyana got a thunder one called 'Shellshocker'. The only other one of note I can remember is the best weapon I ever made called 'Gurdanma' after one of my made-up mythical weapons. I gave it to Ike and he mauled everything.xD

Lesse here....
I have a silver sword for either Stefan or Ike depending on my mood called 'Slayer'. It was blue, and I had put really good stats on it. I armed Stefan with it, and he seriously injured Ashnard. O.O
I also had a green wind tome for Soren. I called it 'Prettyboy'. I bumped up those stats, too, and he one-hit Bryce and nearly did in Ashnard. I did the same in RD and he seriously injured Ashera...
I've made lots and lots of customs, all of which I threw countless gold at...

I made several steel swords for Ike and Mia, a yellow one that was called
" JUSTICE!". I also had a purple blade for Zihark called " Death" and then Mist always had her little " Princess Blade".
Oh, and then I gave Boyd the " Gay Axe" ironically it owned everything.. XD It was a blue axe, by the way.
I also had a few bows made, can't remeber the names, but more recently I've made some steel swords for Titania in Radiant dawn.
The best called the " Hooker Blade" owns everything next Urvan.

Oh, yeah... that's irony for you.
Stuff like that always happens. I remember now Boyd had a pink axe called "Princess". You reminded me of it with your Princess Blade...

Shinka shinai dare ni mo nagareru kono chi ga daikirai....Once Mist is promoted, she can use swords. Valkyries in PoR can use blades now.
Well. The first one I ever made was a pink axe for Boyd.... It was called 'Musica' XD
And then I made an array of weapons. A blue-tinted silver sword for Ike named 'Falchion'(like Marth's~), bows (green, I believe) named 'Arregonna'(I think) for Rolf, and spears for Nephenee and Jill named 'Hurricane' and 'Typhoon'. For tomes, I mainly made wind-based tomes for Senerio. 'Kamizake', I believe~
Each one of my weapons pretty much drained me of my funding.... But, I don't use a lot of units on the field, so, I rack up some cash and extra exp really quickly~ Honnou de sabakiau dare no demo nai daichi de.

I never made too many custom weapons in PoR since...well first I never saw a need and second everyone I had could do a two-hit kill with an iron weapon O.o
Though I know I had a Petal for Mia.
Then in RD I only made two, one each for my best support pair ^^
Mia had Georg Prime, which is paid in tribute to a swordman from a game called Suikoden V. He was a guy who could get tons of critical hits and kill people in one attack. he also had the nickname Deathblow Georg.
And then her partner, Haar, for the Uge Choppa, based off how Orks of Warhammer 40k would pronounce their axes.
EDIT: Nvm, I remember I made a bow fro Rolf in PoR, I called it Messigog.

Anyways...
Toast and Brightlight sound like cute names. I was disappointed with Sothe though so I never gave him any weapons. He never promoted.D:

Yea, it's because he comes promoted in Radiant Dawn.
XD Yes, it's the sad truth... They made it so valkriyes use swords even in Radiant Dawn, they better go back to magic, since swords for them kinda suck... The only good thing is that there are magic swords, those pwn with Mist.

I know I sometimes randomly forge weapons for random people, but I can never memorize them.
I used to have this sort of Path of Radiance tradition, though, before I stopped playing it so much. Every game, I forge a custom tome for Soren. It started out with a random innocent experimentation, really.
Sol Wrath (He used Fire tomes mainly in my first game)
Aros Anger
Crimson Wind
Red Gale
In Radiant Dawn...
Gave him a red Wind tome named Ancestry...
And a green Thunder tome called Squall Bolt.

Ooh ... My memory has never been anything to boast about but lemme see how many I can remember ...
I made one for Mia called Whisper which was grey, and then another one that was originally for her but then went to Ike called Impaler and that was red!
I'm sure I made a bow for Rolf ... But, alas the name and colour escape me.

Wind tome named Stormbeat.
...I was thinking of 'heartbeat' for some reason at that time, so Stormbeat was the best I could think of.

Usually I only name my weapons different versions of "sldkjgvslkdgn" or "argsdkjgnsdlkg".

I didn't do much forging in RD. But I did do a lot in PoR.
I made a blue Silver sword for Stefan named 'Master Sword'. Best ever.
I made a green Steel sword for Mist named 'Greek Sword'. Odd name I know, but she actually killed with it.
I made a tomes of Elthunder, Elfire, and Elwind for Soren named 'Thundaga', 'Firaga', and 'Blizzaga' respectively. I went with ice for the Elwind because it reminds me of Fimbulveter(sp?).
I made a pink Steel bow for Rolf named 'Super Dupe' I have no recollection of why however...
In RD, I only made one weapon which was a sword for Eddie. I named it 'Longclaw' after a sword in an amazing set of novels titled A Song of Ice and Fire.
