Gaia name: Ikatsui Senerio
Character Name: Thiartan (thee-AR-tin)
Age: 23
Appearance: Deep crimson hair, nearly black, grows neatly down to a very short length above the shoulders. Clean arching bangs curve around a somewhat thin face, withdrawn cheeks raising crystalline blue eyes in a striking contrast to the hair color. Solemnity traces a face with never smiles and rarely speaks. Thiartan is close to emaciation, his muscle mass rather lacking and form in a constant tremble, yet his eyes are always focused and his thin bony fingers ready at their daggers. He is 5'7" in height. He often slouches so he seems shorter, though his movements are agile and silent. Thiartan's appearance complicates the ability to discern his age. Thiartan often wears dark robes, heavily inconspicuous because of a dull design.
Bio: Thiartan was born into a family tied with a bloodline of secrets and services. The family tree spanned far and each and every member did things individually. The general idea of the entire family was to be an organization of historians and researchers, dabbling in the deepest and most complex of forbidden knowledge. Various members of this bloodline put their knowledge to use in separate ways. Some wielded their knowledge in favor of crime, others in favor of justice, while some merely put their books down and left them to be forgotten. This bloodline, a middle-class family, was never too popular and nor was it was ever prominent in history. Thiartan's bloodline consists of watchers. From the beginning of history, his ancestors watched stories unfold and kept records of such history in a great library. Some gathered folklore while others gathered conflict.
Thiartan's parents raised him to live close to their purpose. Their purpose was to learn forbidden things and defend such knowledge, as well as keep records of history. What he did with his knowledge was up to him. Living in a middle-class family, Thiartan had little else to do but learn to read and write from his bloodline's customs. He rarely ever spoke and was hesitant to any time he was prodded. His parents took on odd jobs and his older sister raked money in through helping out at a local tavern. Kiartan did nothing for a while except read books in the Tilos Cathedral and educate himself at home. He was a boring and unnoticeable lad.
As Thiartan evolved with his age, he made a decision of what to do with his knowledge. Thiartan took up magic and decided to defend what he knew. Seeking to become a guardian for the Tilos Cathedral, Thiartan decided to learn not only magic, but horseback riding as well. His parents recommended something else. There was no reason to be limited to the ground. They said he should learn to ride a flying mount. Thiartan was content with the idea, yet he feared riding upon a wyvern. Perhaps a pegasus would be better. The bloodline did not fear ridicule toward stereotype, so his parents referred a message to a relative living near Spartezar. A message was returned via two pegasi -- a woman on a white pegasus, leading a black pegasus by the reins.
So Thiartan began learning magic on the back of that black pegasus. Upon maturity, Thiartan left home and found himself a job in delivering things for others. He flew between countries, but always returned to the Tilos Cathedral in Yetzer whenever he could, ensuring its library was safe.

Laguz:Gaia name: Tokyoanimefan
mrgreen Character name: Tsarina Rossini ((pronounced ZAR-eena))
Age: 137
Apperance: Tsarina has a healthy appearing complexion, not too dark and not too light. Her hair is a deep indigo and is cut in a short fashion: almost buzzed in the back, but down to her chin in the front. She has her hair in a side part, ensuring that the right side will always appear longer than the left. Her eyes are dark and relatively narrow, although, if one could get close enough to see, they'd find that her eyes are a blue.
Tsarina wears a red blouse that doesn't reach her shoulders in the arm length and goes down to her waist. It is relatively formfitting, with cutouts in the back for her laguz necessities. Her black wings are very large and end at her ankles. They are full, and have stopped growing as she has. She wears a black miniskirt with slits on the sides that go up to the top of the skirt. On the corners, the emblem of Dergber is sewed on in dark blue thread. She makes no effort to hide it. For the sake of dignity, she wears deep dark golden shorts that are shorter than the skirt. She wears black high boots with stylized designs (think Naesala's).
Bio: Tsarina Rossini was born into near extreme poverty in Dergber. When she was only a nestling herself, only 36 and still growing her wings, an opportunity to prove herself for the military came up. She defeated one of the top ranking officers there, and was immediately given a job. Eventually, she gave up her position in the military to become one of King Oberon's special advisers. She was given a great paycheck to keep quiet for everything that she heard. Since, she's been deployed as a spy of sorts to see what this 'great evil' that threatens the beorc happens to be, and to scope out who will pay top dollar for the assistance of Dergber. She is currently wandering about the countries and resting in Falshire, avoiding Crath, Ranor, and Terracorth with a burning passion.
Race: Laguz Crow.
Class: Crow
weapons: Beak
items: Vulnerary.
Other: Tsarina goes by Rina when with her allies, and Sarah when with complete strangers. She is a friend of all herons. More than anyone else, to Serenity, Princess of Falshire, does her true allegiance lie. In addition, she has a relative living outside Dergber who she has been working with.
Gaia name: Ikatsui Senerio
Character Name: Gabriel Earthplume
Age: 62
Appearance: As suggested by the surname, Gabriel is a heron of far less majesty than his white-winged brethren. Sleek black hair modestly streams down his back to the tailbone, arched bangs framing a pale face beset with emerald eyes. His frame is frail and and posture humble, his height that of 5'6". Gabriel's dusty brown wings are somewhat small but strong enough to lift him from the ground, their primary feathers dipped in black and colored tan inside. Gabriel often wears robes of an earthen brown shade to mark him being of the Earthplume ancestry.
This is his animal form.Bio: Born as a commoner of Falshire, Gabriel was raised as one's typical heron. As with most of the tribe his parents were gentle and nurturing, his sisters naive and soft, his brothers compassionate and humble. Gabriel was much like the rest of his brothers. There was never anything special about him. He ate fruit like his brethren and learned various galdrar like his brethren. He learned to fly and learned to master his animal form. Gabriel was much like the majority of the heron populace. Nothing distinguished him from the rest of the commoners, except perhaps his fear of beorc and fellow laguz tribes.
A day came when Gabriel took it upon himself to venture too far from Falshire. A poacher happened along and (not much to the reader's surprise one can assume) abducted dear Gabriel from his home. Woe befell his parents and sisters and brothers, but the greatest of miseries went to Gabriel, the object of this cruel kidnapping. Gabriel was taken to Yetzer, the homeland of his beorc enemy. It was there Gabriel was forced to sing songs for the man who had kidnapped him. Needless to say, the heron was ill with fright but the master's cruelty left little to heal him. Time wore on; his songs grew weak and the master grew frustrated. Then the man sparked to life an idea. To harden the frail heron, he sent Gabriel out time and time again to perform tasks for him, especially in the illegal business. Gabriel was forced to make deals and exchange money and products of smuggled import to keep his life.
Gabriel did eventually grow healthier through his diet, medicine, and training. The poacher was not willing to let him die so soon.
Gabriel changed with his trials. He became bold toward the beorc and even developed a temper brought about by impatience or impertinence. One day, the poacher had the heron sing for him after going a long length of time without his songs. Gabriel tried to sing. And he realized he'd lost his galdrar voice. Gabriel's voice was mediocre, poor at worst. The master was angry.
Gabriel was only stronger in spirit, not in body. In his boldness coupled with fear, the heron took flight, his small but strong wings carrying him away from the man who had corrupted his heron spirit.
He knew he had changed, that he was now unlike his Falshire brethren. Gabriel wandered alone, trying to regain his singing voice. It slowly returned, but never to its former glory. Seeking redemption, Gabriel flew to Eder, and now spends his days away soothing troubled souls with his voice in a modest inn that accepted his presence.
