I absolutely love HIM, Otep, Mindless Self Indulgence.. and a bazillion other bands. I am a major junkie, haha. But I am always looking for new music..
What are some of your favorite bands? Anything you guys would recommend?

Ive ben lisining to Gorillaz alot, but every body knows about them. I wold recomend tobyMac for a range of diferent rock. If you like more softer rock, then i wold have to say superchic[k] or Hawk Nelson. If you like sompthing alitle harder, try Famly Force 5. If you favor rap, then i wold say John Ruben (i dont think i spelled his last name right). There is also Switchfoot right up there with toby. I think thats it. ya.

12 stones, 311, a change of pace, Avenged Sevenfold, Bon Jovi, Coheed and Cambria, Cradle of Filth, Dethklok, Dir En Grey, Don McLean, Flyleaf, Judas Preist, Led Zeppelin, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, Pantera, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Rewired [Friend's band] Rise Against, Soundgarden, System Of A Down, Three Inches Of Blood, and Velvet Revolver.

I've drastikly changed music wise. I listen to Gorillaz non stop. I have lots of songs by them to recamend for a bunch of gonras. Some of my favorits i wold sugest are Feel Good Inc., El Manana, DARE, Dirty Harry, Kids with Guns, and 19/200. The titles are very misleading, expeshaly Kids with Guns.

Weeeeeeeelllll, at the moment I really like:
Foo Fighters, because they rock harder then Daughtry and Nickelback combined (sorry fans of those two bands).
Taking Back Sunday, Spitalfield, Incubus, Motion City Soundtrack, and Mutemath, cuz they're fun.
Lupe Fiasco & Gym Class Heroes, far as rap goes (though, fair warning, I listen solely to postive/"alternative" rap)
Brand New & The Used, for the perfect medium between screamo and rock.
The Beatles & Nancy Sinatra, classic sixties sound.
Gnarls Barkley, a wonderful mix of it all. And, for fans of the Gorillaz, half of the duo that makes up Gnarls Barkley, Danger Mouse, produced Demon Days.
Interpol, Elefant, Automatic Automatic, The Killers, and Heavens, all very electricy.
Juno Reactor, trance music on crack, mixed with dance.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs, indie pop and full of win.
Kent, I'm fairly sure they're Swedish, but their music is lovely.
Disturbed & Killswitch Engage, what can I say; local music has grabbed me by the throat.
Perry Farrell's Satellite Party & Cobra Starship, for the most delightfully random music on the planet.
Daft Punk, cuz they're dance-tastic.
Of Montreal is very fun, and their live shows are supposed to be awesome.
Yelle, for the poppiest, most disco, naughtiest French songs, ever.
MIA, for super-fun music.
Weezer, for an almost 90s-ish feel of music.
The White Stripes, for a classic rock feel without the classic rock old people.
Queen, just cuz they're awesome and full of win.
Bob Marley, for some of the best reggae (think Get Up, Stand Up, and you've found the artist of that song).
Circa Survive, for some of the most complex and beautiful rock you've ever heard.
Matisyahu, for rap that seems tinged with reggae and Jewish values.
Kanye West, for, although he's arrogance personified, he can back it up.
Rodrigo y Garbriela, for some of the best acoustic guitar you'll ever hear.
There are many more bands than that, but for the sake of saving space, I have but this to say: YaY Korn, MSI, Gorillaz, 311, Dir en Grey, Flyleaf, and Soundgarden!

i have no specific favorite because i like all music but if i had a gun held to my head and was told "tell us your favorite band or well kill you" id say...........Trivium.
