how about u give items out to 40 people or so and they donate 1k to enter
we can give out 1 item to people who donate

Well, donations should probably vary... The larger the donation, the larger the prize, though we should post a limit to how much of a donation we'll accept and how often we'll accept them, unless (and probably until) we all are willing to buy prizes for others.
First, we need to know who has the least amount of gold and how much they have. Then we need to find out who has the most, and how much THEY have. Then the maximum amount of gold we'll accept will be HALF of the LEAST and GREATEST amounts totaled together 3nodding
