THE ANGELIC LAMENT by me n_n
I saw an angel. Dead.
And all the world wondered,
Why before his death, he let go his silver throat,
And sang.

Of words forgotten;
And yet renewed.
The song called twilight still.
And thou the whole world listened.

Some say he fell to lust,
But how come his death note; screamed.
And all the gods cried to his sonnet.
No one dreamed him, for we were not blind.

Ironic, how ugly he seemed,
His face twisted in pain; with tears,
Oh sweet tears! That mocked our empty hearts;
And in our time of remembrance, we realised.

He cried for us, and we were ashamed.
It was our lose, our fault.
We were the breaker of dreams;
The causer of his lament.

But in all the sins, we watched;
A young girl walked. Oh her parents wailed,
Their regrets, on deaf ears.
Like some sentence of some un-judged death.

She held a red rose, but what a gift!
One petal hanged from it’s broken limbs;
The sharp thorns ripping her flesh.
She offered it to his lifeless form.

Landed upon his chest, the last forgotten rose.
She lastly kissed his frozen brow;
And cried back a song, and cried it aloud;
Thou suddenly the world drew its breath for the foolish traveller.
