Rules
All rules are subject to change.
Guild Rules
o1o Leadership
I (a.vampires.blood.lust, sun f e a t h e r s, xvampericxchickx) am owner and Goddess of this guild. My word is law. If you have any questions or complaints, then please, feel free to PM me.
o2o Follow Gaia ToS
This should be self explanatory. But I'm going to outline it again for you anyway:
o3o Keep all limbs and objects to yourself.
This is a community guild. You are expected to be courteous and conscientious at all times. I swear, so I don't mind if you do, but not every other word, honestly. And never swear at another member. Saying things that are racially, politically, religiously, or sexually abusive, or any other material that would be offensive to any other member is not acceptable. I know I can get quite heated on such topics myself, so they are probably best to just ignore. If you have a problem with another member, talk to me about it and we will sort something out. Do not just retaliate in a blind rage, it just makes one big ugly mess. Not that there should be any problems to begin with.
o4o Literacy
I don't mind if you use things like 'Brb' and 'Lol' outside of role playing, but I would prefer if text talk is not used. As long as you don't do it IC I don't really mind, but it is a pet peeve of mine.
o5o This is a role play guild
Most people come here simply to role play, if you engage yourself in BDSM in real life and would wish to share, go ahead by all means but keep it dignified and PG 15, but under no circumstances may you ask any one else in the guild if they would like to 'role play' with you in real life. This rule isn't just for IRL BDSM players, this is for everyone. I don't want any perverts luring boys and girls from out of my guild, or at all for that matter! It's just wrong, and you should be ashamed. <------ To the luring kiddies off the internet part, not the IRL BDSM that is.
o6o Privacy
Never tell anyone your last name. If you feel comfortable enough to give them your email and/or age, then that is your risk, but for Christ's sakes don't give them phone numbers or addresses! The most detailed I ever get if someone asks where I live is what state. I don't want anything bad happening to any of my precious members!
o7o Confirmation

Role Playing Rules
o1o The Role plays
All role plays must follow these rules. They may also have their own individual rules, they may not. But any role play or role player found to be in violation of these rules with be deleted in the case of the former, or warned, suspended and finally banned, in the case of the latter if repeat offenses occur.
o2o God Moding
That is, taking control of another person's character, is not allowed. This includes having a character that is immortal or never gets injured. If your character is in a fight, you may say how they attack and where they are aiming for, but it is the other character who determines whether or not they are injured, and if so, how badly. But again, no character can dodge every hit.
o3o Literacy
This is a literate guild. That means a minimum of two paragraphs (at least four lines a paragraph), one if you're having incredible trouble with writers block. No chatspeak or emoticons while in character. Use "Quotations" for speech, and italics for thought. Capitals only where required and proper punctuation. Use spell check. No *asterisks* or other symbols for actions. Always write in third person.
o4o Romance, Violence and Language.
Romance and violence IC are both encouraged, but keep everything PG 15. Don't swear every other word, and you can't kill another persons character (see o2o God Moding for more rules pertaining to violence). If your character is romantically interested in another, then do not force the other person to make their character like yours as well. It's a personal choice. If things get any more heated than making out, then either time skip or take it to the PM's. If it's someone you haven't role played with before, then always ask their limits. Some people don't mind role playing the whole dirty deed out, others do. Do not force someone who does not want to, to take it to the PM's.
o5o Out of Character Chat
Use ((these)) or [[these]] or --something of the like-- to show OOC talk so that no one get confused. I don't mind if you use abbreviations, emoticons, etc. in OOC, but never IC.
o6o Profiles
As this is a literate guild, I'm trusting there should be no body who would create an inappropriate profile that I might reject or remove. So while it is required that you PM all of your profiles to me before you begin posting (and everything is time stamped, so I'll know), you do not have to wait for me to accept before you can begin. The only reason that you do have to PM it to me is that there is a certain way I like the profiles set out; all in the same post. It looks neater and makes everything easy to find.

o1o What does OOC, IC and IRL mean?
For those of you who do not know, OOC is Out of Character, IC is In Character, and IRL is In Real Life. It's to determine the difference between what is meant to determine the difference between the real person + the real world, and the role play character + the role play world.
