Second Floor[Welcome to Ms. Montana's Class!]Greetings, students! Welcome to my class. This is where you are able to learn how to summon and use magics that you have already learned. First, we have summoning class. There, you will learn how to summon creatures and how to improve their strengths and the bond towards you and your summoning creature. After that, we will move on to how to use magics and practice them! I hope you all will behave and have fun in this class![Seating Chart]

Jeslene walked in her classroom with her books and bags in her arms. It was extremely heavy, but thanks to the workout, it felt like they were light. She managed to carry them all the way from the teacher's lounge. She looked around the classroom to see if there was anyone inside and it was dead empty. She sighed and walked over to the teacher desk. She set her books on the table and the bags on the floor below the table. She sat in her chair and puts on her glasses. It's not like she was recommended to wear them, but sometimes she couldn't see from faraway. She looked at her chart to see who was coming in for today to take her class. There were a lot of students coming in and she looked at the time. It was nearly time for class to start. She sighed and looked around. She got up and walked to the board. She wrote "Ms. Montana" on the board, so that her students could learn her name. She straighten her outfit and prepared herself for her first class.

Sean came skidding around the corner to find students still filing into Ms. Montana's classroom.
Whew, I made it! Sean thought to himself, grinning like a fool.
Maybe next time I'll just stay on the school ground until after all my classes...
Taking a seat, Sean was surprised to see that the instructor seemed almost the same age as he; it was a startling contrast to the old, dried up teacher from his last class!

Jaslene sat down the chair as students began to walk in the classroom. Some were standing while some were sitting down, getting their stuff ready for learning. She could tell that some students was surprised at the fact that she is young and maybe as old as they are. She smirked and then looked at the door. Another student walked in just in time for class. He was almost late and Jaslene glanced at her watch. She stood up and straighten her outfit once more. Boy, was she nervous about teaching a class. She wasn't really expecting to be able to teach a class that's really big. We'll get used to it. she thought to herself and walked out of her desk area. She leaned against the desk and crossed her arms. She waited a few more moments to make sure there won't be any late students. Then she stood up and began, "Hello, fellows students. I'm your new summoning/magic teacher. This is my first year to teach here and you may call me Ms. Montana." She pointed at the board with "Ms. Montana" written on it in white chalk. "We'll be getting to the basics of summoning and magic, but first, let's start by getting to know each other. We don't want to be complete strangers in this classroom, right? Let's start with me. My full name is Jaslene Karen Montana and I'm currently 26 years old. I know several summoning and tons of black magic. This is my first time to be in Balamb Garden and also my first time teaching." She walked to the girl in the front row on the very right corner. "Your turn, sweetie." The girl stammered and slowly stood up. Jaslene could tell that she's very nervous about the whole thing and isn't really used to given presentations to the whole class. She had each student give their names and a little about themselves. She leaned against the desk as she listened.

When it came to Sean's turn he stood slowly, unsure at first. He'd rehearsed in his head how he'd introduce himself, a hundred different ways over and over.
"Um. My full name is Seandacht Cogadh Measin, and I'm twenty-three. I transferred from a different school where I uh, was one of the best fighters there, but I-"
Subdued chatter in the back caught his ear and made him stumble a little.
"-but how'd one of those guys get in here?"
"...But I wound up here. Where I come from, we're named by a sorceress at a week old after whatever she sees in our dreams. My name translates into Red Ancient, War Machi-."
-Kinda cute though, doncha think?"
"No way! Eww..."
Sean forced the last word out and fought for composure. "Machine."
"I uh... I never really studied magic except in history and stuff, but one of the instructors says I might be good with Life magic."
And then he heard something that clammed him up.
"Bet he can't even cast a simple Cure or Esuna..."
"And that's it." He punctuated his little introduction by crossing his arms and dropping into his seat like a rock, trying not to fume.
It wasn't his fault! How was he supposed to know there were parts of the world where magic was so...common? Besides, who needed magic when you could hammer through a spell barrier with a limit break or shoot someone from hundreds of yards away?

Jaslene looked over at the students who was whispering while Sean was presenting. As he finished presenting, she shook her head and said, "Please, don't talk while someone else is presenting." She looked over at Sean and walked over to him. She began to whisper, "Don't worry about them, Sean. They're here because they don't know how to cast spells either." She walked back to her desk and took out a big book full of magic spells. She opened it and looked through the pages. She glanced at her watch and she puts the book down, still opened. "Well, we don't have much longer to get started with the lessons I have prepared, but we'll start with the basics." She looked around the room one more time before going on. "Who can tell me the 4 basic magic elements?" she asked and looked around to see if anyone has an answer.

Eve smiled when she stood up to introduce herself. She was nowhere near as nervous as nearly everyone else seemed, including the teacher.
Another magic class. Well she had never been taught to summon, though so this could be fun.
Her voice was silvery smooth and silky as she spoke to the class meeting the teacher's eyes and then the students, her manners and voice cultured by a lifetime of public speaking.
"My name is Elizabeth Venus Espray. But I am called Eve." she felt her smile grow as her last name was recognized, her family were sort of magically renowned. Oh well she was used to it. Besides attention never bothered the silver haired enchantress as it clearly did the boy who had just introduced himself.
She didnt know there were placed where everything wasnt defined by magic but she refused to join the gossiping about Seandacht. It was making him uncomfortable clearly.
"I am from the Eastern Coast. I am fairly competenmt magically and cannot wait to test and grow my skills with y'all under Miss Montanna's tutelege. I am very pleased to have such a diverse group of students to study with. I'm sure ALL of us can learn much from each other. " She gave some of the whispers a pointed look before curtsying and sitting down gracefully.

When no one else volunteered an answer Eve raised her hand "Are they Water, Earth, Air and Fire?" she asked calmly.
She had been raised with 6 or 5 elements depending but she knew the number changed for each system.

When a girl named Eve answered, she looked at her book. "Close. You got water and fire right. It is fire, water, ice and thunder. Earth and air is basically elements such as quake, aero and tornado. Some of you might have already learned some of the basic magic spells, but haven't quite fully mastered it. We'll be in the practice room, practicing the basic spells tomorrow. Now, about summoning. It is a very special magic spell and there's different types of creatures that you can summon. It all depends on how the creature you summon act towards you and it may have come a lot faster than when others control that creature. It has a couple side effects though, but we'll be getting to that tomorrow." She closed her book and looked at the watch. It's almost time for their next class. "Well, it was really great having you in my class. It's almost time for your next class. I want you to think about what I said and don't forget about tomorrow's plans."

Eve arched an eyebrow. Interesting. She had never heard that combination before. Sometimes metal was an element, she had heard of Darkness and Light being elements, and she personally called on Spirit as a 5th element.
But Thunder, Ice, Water, Fire? Difficult volatile elements. THis class could be very dramatic. And she could definitely learn some things.
She wanted to ask Ms Montanna something though, and so she tarried after the other students left
After the last sudent left, Eve approached the teacher respectfully, pushing her long silver hair back behind her shoulders.
"Ms. Montanna?" she said softly "If you dont mind I have a question to ask you concerning what we will be learning in your class?" she let her statement be a question her huge silver eyes watching unblinkingly

As the students left for their next class, she turned back and orgnanized her stuff together for her next class. She sat down as the last student left and turned to her laptop. A student went up to her and a female voice was asking her a question. She looked up and it is Eve. "Sure," she replied, "What is it?" She sat there with her hands together and waits for the question to pop up.

Eve actually hesitated a moment, trying to figure the best way to take the subject. "Ms Montanna, you said you were well accomplished in the dark magicks. Is this summoning a dark magick?" Eve knew her mother considered it one. BUt then Eve had a feeling that her mother would consider the elements being used destructive and dark. Personally Eve was asking because she had never studied black magicks if this was darker magic she would assume she knew nothing to avoid embarrassment. Her energy and empowerment came from darkness occasionally so she had no moral issue she just wanted to know

She thought about the answer to the question for a bit, trying to figure out the best way to make it simple for Eve. "Well," She began, "Some people considered summoning a dark magic, while some of the others consider summoning some kind of helping hand. I consider summoning a dark magic since it's very rare to see anyone with a summoning spell. I did say that summoning has side effects. One of the advantage is that summoning actually makes you stronger. It can increase your strength, speed, agility and some other stuff it may have increase. The disadvantage is that it sometimes leaves you vulnerable while waiting for the summon to appear. There is one more thing I would like to share with you, but it's best if the rest of the students hears it, since they're very new to summoning spells and dark magics." She took a deep breath. She looked at Eve, hoping that she was listening because she wouldn't have to repeat herself. "To be honest, I'm still studying how magics exactly work." she smirked and then smiled at Eve. "Understand?" She asked Eve and waited for a response.
