hey guys i need some help i have these 2 plants in my room but i have no idea what they are... one is stalk like and the other leafy ill post a pic soon but i just can't figure out what they are....

Usually plants that have leaves nearish to the bottom and a single plant stalk are bromeliads, a few good ones are aloe vera and orchids. Describe the plants and i will be happy to help as well.
