Hey, all! Got invited, but I figured no one would mind if I introduced myself a little.
Name: Pixie, Emily, Emmie, Emmie Claire, MC Em C, any permutations of the former
Age: 15 in March, sophomore in high school
Found: I got invited, dude! *grins*
Reason: Other than the fact that I already, y'know, did, I'm a budding writer/roleplayer/journalist with a total of 14 English classes (if you count Journalism 1, which is all that that is, and Creative Writing) behind her, so I'm pretty good at this writing thing by now. Also, I've been published. Not largely published, but I have!
Other: Like I said, I've got a million English classes behind me, but of all of those, honestly Creative Writing and Journalism were the most important to my development of a writer, because they've taught me to give good critique and more importantly, accept good critique.
Also, I'm a literate roleplayer and I play all the time - it exercises my skills. My creative writing teacher tells us (tells because he runs the writing club I'm in) to write a little every day, no matter what it is. I generally take his advice.
