Hey, as the title says, who is your video game industry idol and why?
Personally, my video game industry idol is Ted Price, the president and CEO of Insomniac Games (Which I also think is the greatest video game company). The reason that he is my idol is because he kept Insomniac games running for nearly 14 years now and all his games are awesome and usually well received by the reviewers. Lastly (is that a word?), I love his taste in music (he loves Opeth and Queens of the Stone Age)
There's currently a "Behind the Games" video of him on Gamespot.

I'd have to say Nobuo Uematsu or Akira Yamaoka and thats because I simply think that the music is one of the biggest parts of a game, but yet easily overlooked.
Uematsu is known for his work with Square Enix games such as various Final Fantasy titles. He also has a band called the black mages. I own 3 of his CD's.
Yamaoka is known as the person who writes the story and the music for the Silent Hill games. I have 2 of his CD's.

Hideo Kojima. Not just because I'm a Metal Gear fan, because he can make Big Foot to be Solid Snakes dad and write it so damn well it'd make sense.

Actually Fusajiro Yamauchi who founded Nintendo in 1889 died in 1940 during WWII. Back then they made Japanese Hanafuda cards. Later they turned into a taxi service and something called love hotels (Pretty much a place your parents go when they do stuff your not allowed to see wink ) before walking through the door to video gaming industry.

Oh... my bad. Well I do think there were a few games for NES and SNES actually. They made fun of those games on gametrailers.com once.

Who would want a sex game? I'd take the real thing any day. razz
If you want a sex game, pick up an Atari with Beat 'Em And Eat 'Em.
