In spirit of Christmas and the holidays, I want to hear some favorite holiday memories.
One of my favorite memories was last Xmas, my aunt and two cousins came to visit my family. It was so much fun talking to them. One of my two cousins lives in Cali so we don't see him often. At one point, my mom was having fun with her camera taking a thousand pictures and wanted one of my siblings, my cousins and I. So we're all standing there posing and my brother whispers out of the corner of his mouth 'I have gas' right before the picture is taken. xd Mind you, my brother was 34 at the time. Mature, I know. It made everyone laugh really hard.
Another memory is when my sister and I are opening gifts and making a pile of used paper. The dog decided to jump into the pile and shred the paper. It was so cute! We tried to get him to shred the paper from a gift so he could 'open' one too. ^-^

ooooops, sort of missed this thread by a month or two,,,,,,,however, a great Christmas was when the younglings were all quite small, barely had enough $$$ for presents, and couldn't afford a tree, so i swiped a little tiny pine that had been discarded by one of the local xmas tree vendors. that was a genuine Charlie Brown christmas tree, it was. within days, it was so brittle, just the breeze from the front door opening/closing sent its brown needles to the floor. the wee ones and i had handmade all the ornaments. this was a memorable christmas to me cuz they actually appreciated those few gifts and didn't mind in the least how pathetic that tree was......when they got older, nothing seemed to measure up.................................
