Story: The continent of Azamaiyo was a peaceful land where all races could live as one. Everyone was equal; there was no war and all beings held everyone else's beliefs in high regard. However, one day, two dark ships suddenly appeared on the horizon of this peaceful world. All of the inhabitants of this land were quite surprised, for they believed that their continent was the entire world. But they welcomed them with open arms. This proved to be a mistake.

Before the ships even reached land, they immediately open fired, destroying everything that lay on the out skirts of Aamaiyo. The inhabitants, who of course did not know about such things as weapons, were unable to defend themselves and fled inland. There they believed they were safe. But of course they were wrong. The creatures, who had appeared on the island were beings who soon became known as "humans". And the humans, as soon as they landed, immediately began building camp, preparing for another assault on the peaceful Azamaiyans. A few days after the first ships had landed, more soon appeared. And in no time, an entire legion of humans soon could be accounted for.

It did not take the humans long to enslave the entire continent. However, they did not plan to stop there, for they were an imperialist people. Even though there were many humans who would stay on the island and keep the creatures in line (not including the ones that they chose to cast spells upon and make them warriors to help them on their imperialistic quest), there were a greater number of those who would continue conquering other lands.

The organization which was ahead of this operation of imperialistic affairs was known as: The Enlightened Ones. And this organization was held in a huge castle known as "Ichiban" which lay in the heart of the continent of Azamaiyo.

Many years passed, and The Enlightened Ones stretched out across the globe. However, during this time, a human man by the name of Ganato fell in love with an elf named Ailaiya and had three children with her. However, The Enlightened Ones soon found out about this and sent out a raid upon Ganato's house. There they were able to kill Ganato, Ailaiya and two of the children. However, their eldest son Raiyoto was able to escape into the wilderness. There, he stayed in hiding for many years with the other refugees who had been able to escape the grasp of The Enlightened Ones.

For years, he lay in the darkness, his hatred for the humans growing. And finally, when he reached the age of eighteen, he gathered up the courage to impersonate himself as a human and infiltrate Ichiban. Because he did look human (for he did not get much of his mother's genes), no one, he hoped would suspect him.

However, after being accepted (and going by the alibi that he had been captured by "the savages" being held captive for many years), his trail unfortunately revealed the refuges he had been staying with. Now, his first mission is to lead a brigade against the creatures who had protected him for many years....

Humans/"Enlightened Ones"

Magic/Abilities: Martial Arts
History: Bantai was born into one of the noblest families of The Enlightened Ones and was therefore always promised a high rank because of his status. Despite the fact that he was promised this, he was a very talented man and was therefore given the status of Lt. Commander at the age of twenty.

However, by this time, Raiyoto, who was eighteen, had suddenly appeared and because of his great talent, was almost immediately given the status of Captain. Angry that a commoner (even though he was a human) could have gained such a high position before a noble, Raiyoto immediately became an enemy of Bantai. Now Bantai will do anything to make his rival look bad. In addition to this, Bantai has begun to get quite suspicious of him...

Magic/Abilities: Has what many elves call "Hawk Eye" which means that he can aim quite well and hit almost any target with an arrow. He is not, however that skilled with his katana.

Others

Aress had easily gotten a ride off of one of the lead horses of the brigade, or at least the back of the horse. Her ears were off to the sides as the ride had gotten dull. She didn't pay any attention the entire time. No one bothered to even talk to her, but she didn't care anyways.

A thought had began to slowly cross her mind as she turned her head and let her ears moved back. She peered up to the captain, finally hearing the humans around her.

The grumblings of the soldiers payed her no heed, but the 'cahoots' part would seem true. When he told everyone to stop she slipped from the horse as her short tail twitched. She pushed past a couple men who tried to convince her to play a game or whatever with them.

Aress made her way towards the same bit of water that the captain had gone to, but she took a different path, claiming she needed a bath. She stopped behind a tree, watching the man. The one unhypnotized part of her was starting to take back control, slowly breaking the spell the longer she stayed there.

Aress kept her eyes to the captain, feeling a small breeze play with her hair. Her nose twitched some, trying to keep her one eye covered. She slowly moved a hand, pushing the hair back into it's place. She moved her other hand to the tree as the wind settled down.

The wind picked up a little more, pulling off dead leaves from trees. She slowly glanced upwards, watching the leaves dance among the air. Her ears twitched as she began to feel calm. A calm she missed so much.

Her ears twitched quickly, perking upwards some. She returned her attention back to the male infront of her.

Aress slowly lowered her head, and took a step back. Before she had been able to catch a hold of his scent. He wasn't human. She stayed in her spot, keeping her eyes to him, or at least her one good eye. She could have used this chance to run, but she didn't know what to do.

Aress watched as the captain made his way back to the group. She moved from her tree and moved to a spot where he could easily see. She easily noticed the tear. She brought her hand up, shaking her hand and a finger. She slowly grinned to him before giving a small bow. She turned and ran into the forest, listening and hearing for the group of her own kind.

This female was an animal type of Azamaiyan, and she could easily find her way through nearly any forest. She used a couple trees to help her turn, going deeper into the forest. She stopped, her chest heeving quickly as she looked around. She lifted her head, nose twitched some.

Aress continued quickly through the trees, but decided to walk. Her body was already plenty rabbit-like, she hated it when her movements copied one. Her ears twitched, lifting up as a couple kids ran by with basics full of berries. She smiled and followed after the children, coming upon the group.

She smiled as she made her way deeper into the group, yelling out to the those who bothered to listen, "Humans are coming to kill this group! Take the children and run! Those who are able to fight, should stay!" Lucky for her, many did listen, and all of the females took any available child and ran off further into the woods. She watched as males of all ages picked of weapons of all sizes, ready for the brigade of humans.

Aress had managed to get all the different races to hide and wait in positions. The elves were on high rocks and trees. The Animals were each in their best suited spots, claws up high, horns down low.

Her ears twitched she she looked into the forest, hearing the captain's words. She quickly glanced over among the elves, readying them for their shots. She jumped among the trees, getting into a spot to save the captain before anyone was able to get him. She refused to tell the group who he was.

The captain was half an elf, and she knew that if he was killed, she'd be regretting his death. She kept her ears up, picking up the sounds of hooves. She kept her brain running, waiting and calculating when he was going to com across her trap.

Knowing that the Azamaiyans would be fully prepared for the attack, the captain slowly rose his bow as he prepared himself for battle, his eyes racing back and forth for signs of any movement. As his steed raced across the quickly passing trees, the captain spotted a creature in the distance, hiding behind some boulders which lay a couple of yards ahead. Knowing that he was being watched, the captain quickly rose his bow and aimed slightly to the side of where the Azamaiyan lay and pulled back on the string, his hawk-like eyes calculating the perfect distance of where he would miss.

With a final cry, the captain released the bow, sending the arrow cascading through the air and landing just inches away from the creature, its image now wedged deep into the trunk of a tree; he had successfully missed. However, he had now initiated the battle...

Talen saw the rabbit girl jump at the captain but did nothing to stop her instead she ran her horse into the group of soldiers to confuse them so that they wouldn't see where the captain went until he was already gone. She looked back watching for a moment before returning to distracting the soldiers while Nefala played her part screaming and rearing to get all of their attentions while Talen pretended to try and get Nefala under control.
