Hello all, I am Metal Valkyrie, I also go by Val if you like. So I'm an 18 year old female metal head. I like Twisted Sister, I honestly don't know that much about them as a band, however I love Dee Snider. I have a lot of respect for the guy....I mean what over grown man can put on makeup like that and still be a respected male? Haha, Anyway, um....so my top favorite bands are Iron Maiden, Megadeth and Alice in Chains. I like all sorts of things like baking, video games and reading. So this looks kind of too long now but yeah, you guys get my drift. xp

by the way, i like ts, maiden and megadeth and baking aswell, hehe
i agree, Dee Snider is awsome, i don't care if a band wears clown-masks, or anything like that, i care about the music, and some, how they preform live
dee snider have been my main idol since when i was very small, maybe 10 or 11, i remember listening to i wanna rock, and more, at the radio, snider is really cool, not only cause of the makeup and that, his attitude when they play live is great aswell

Thank you, pleasure to be here.
But yeah, I have a lot of respect for the guy, like also for the fact that as a band they are still together and touring and whatnot. I love it when bands come back to do stuff like that for their fans. And he's cool, I think most of it came from when I learned he went to basically defend metal with the whole parental advisory sticker thingy. He kicked some a** there, but he just seems pretty cool in general. Musically and personally, which doesn't really happen to often. xp

not very active, i did only hear them some on the radio, and my mind got lost after a while, but i recognized the songs anytime i heard them, but i did grow up listening to kiss, ac/dc, alice cooper, europe, and more

That's cool, yeah it's better than what I grew up with. My mom loved James Taylor. Yuck. I never got into real metal until just before high school.

my mom listen to pop and stuff, i don't really know, but she or dad probably listened to ac/dc, etc when they was younger, since they owned the lps before they gave them to me, well, i do at least belive someone of them listened to it, but they really don't do do that now, they listen to pop and other crap

that's still pretty cool. The only thing I can share with my mom musically is The Bee Gees and The Eagles. Ha, yeah my mom thinks I listen to satanic music so yeah....haha.

Ha, yeah my mom thinks I listen to satanic music so yeah....haha. quite the same, sometimes, but i talked her into letting me to keep listening on it, when i was younger, thats when she bought me my first cd, kiss - love gun, which i still got, and it works, almost perfectly
