{and so the story goes} Saturday, August 25th 199011:00 am - 1:00 pmFebruary 1st - 8th Alice Burkley and Rain Larks managed to lose poor Fig Violino, who ended up in Knockturn Alley, uncomfortably accompanied by his Charms rival, Zaccheus Dane. Matthias Ibn La-Ahad managed to save his young Gryffindor friend just in time, and Castrus Sacre seemed to appear out of nowhere to escort Zacch away. And of course, some clever words were exchanged between the four in a very minor battle of wits. [Out of the Slytherins, Ravenclaw, and a Gryffindor, who do you think won?]
The clerk at Quality Quidditch Supplies won't have a moment of silence until closing, it seems. First, the cocky Oliver Wood gave him crap, then Ryan Martin barged in, looking for Skylar, and finally, half of the Weasley family scrambled in, but at least they planned to buy something
Hollywood Randle faithfully followed Melanie Parks into the stationary shop, and ended up buying a few things himself, to please Melanie, no doubt! They were then met by Asia Eventide, and had a friendly conversation about summer vacation, until Ryan and Skylar Martin came in, arguing.
Mackenzie Alexanders was surprisingly on time to arrive in Twilfit & Tatting's, but her friends were nowhere to be seen, while she waited, she tried on a few dress robes [hey, she's a girl, what do you expect?]. Also in the store, Masika Het-Heru tried her hardest to convince her best guy friend Zaidin Berkely against buying new robes for his final year of Hogwarts. Instead, she attempted to coax him into buying her new dress robes.
Last but not least, Alanis Jensen had some actual human contact when Rosaline Windsor chose to help her fellow Ravenclaw. It was a bit akward, but nonetheless, it was interaction. Meanwhile in the bookstore, Bailey Ann Thompson was spending precious moments with her aunt before her first year at Hogwarts.1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
February 8th - 13thAfter Fig and Matthias had left, Castrus found himself in dire need to figure out Zacch's family secret, as his family records were quite clean for the typical pureblood clan. Finally, Zacch gave in and revealed his situation to Castrus, making him only the second to know of the secret.
With their own problems, Ryan and Sklar Martin left as soon as they had come into Inks 'n' things. Hardly noticing, Hollywood, Asia, and Melanie finished their friendly conversation before Asia headed over to Ollivander's for a tune-up, where she met Elanor Davis.
After Flourish & Blott's, Alanis headed over to the junk shop, where she came across another book, but this one seemed to be a much more amazing treasure.
Back at the bookstore, Matthias returned Fidelious to Alice and Rain, but not without a few jokes beforehand. But before their conversation was over, Rain took his leave. Afterwards, the three students still left in the store met Bailey Ann by accident, but weren't displeased with the fact, as she seemed a sweet girl.
Over in Quality Quidditch Supplies, George complimented Oliver on his boots [that he didn't quite own yet, but they were nice all the same]. On the other side of the shop, Cedric Diggory entered quite excited and a certain [expensive!] Nimbus 1000 caught his eye.
Melanie and Hollywood finally met up with Mackenzie a bit late. But soon, the friends were interrupted by Aidan Reese, giving Melanie's friends the cold shoulder. Hollywood and Kenzie, in turn, left the two alone. Masika and Zaidin inquired about their hiding, but Aidan escorted Melanie to the ice-cream parlour before they could answer.
Bellatrix Narcissa Love d'Mort was last seen arguing with a Gringrott's goblin. Apparently, access is denied to the d'Mort clan because of her mother's actions.
Last but not least, Zaito Ishi took a trip down to the Magical Instuments shop for a violin, and while headed down to the ice cream parlour, he 'marked his wife'. Rosaline regretted coming into the ice cream parlour because of the chilly weather, but ordered some ice cream with hot fudge anyway. Aidan and Melanie entered after her, but Rosaline decided to study them from afar.
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
February 13th - 22nd After a bit of a dispute with his mother Aidain left his mother and Melanie in the Ice Cream Parlour. But his mother followed. Finally, he lost her in front of Flourish & Blott's. And Melanie, being left alone, exited the ice cream shop as well.
Bailey got to know the Alice,Fig, and Matt in Flourish & Blott's, Fig and Matt made a bet on Bailey's sorting. But the happy mood was quite dashed when Alice spied Aidan and left for her friends for a moment. But she came back quite flustered and angry, not wanting to 'play games' [dundundun]. As Aidan left, Alice let her violent side show, possibly injuring her, Fig and Bailey rushed to help [after she had helped Zacch find the Charms section and noticed that Matt had dissapeared], and left Asia, who had just arrived, all alone. But Zaito quickly relived her from being ignored. Unfotunately, she wasn't quite impressed with his actions or words. Jast after all of the commotion, Jane Driscoll entered, being in the bookstore for actual books [rather than drama].
After leaving the bookstore, Rain met up with Skylar in Slug & Jiggers [what an awful place to have a pleasant conversation]. Aidan had just come from the book store as well, but for a different reason altogether. After mentioning a 'little adventure with a girl,' Rain had to investigate and some unfriendly air between the two Slytherin boys.
Expecting to find Ollivander, instead Ryan found Eleanor inside the wand maker's shop instead. It being a pleasant surprise, Ryan didn't mind stopping to chat. In the middle of their conversation, little Ayşe Toluk entered with her escort, in need of her first wand.
Over at the bank, there seems to be a streak of unfriendly Goblins. But overlooking it while waiting, Bellacissa had a [for the most part] pleasant conversation with Leander Sacre.
Back in Quality Quidditch Supplies, Mary Perison met up with Cedric after taking a look and a swing at the beaters' bats.
