Į Į Į ڗuŀìaŋ "Պąç" ՊąçĞՒęgöՒ ৗ ৗ ৗ”Don‘t let the times get you down. It‘s not worth it.”It never ceased to amaze him, the way those in the portraits could slip from there's and into another's. He supposed it was like the way people walked from room to room. But he hadn't grown up with magical beings. No, Mac grew up for some time with his great-grandparents, who were definitely muggles. Only magical person in his family was his mother, and she had made a point to hide that well until his acceptance letter. At least the people in the portraits could never become lonely.
"Yes, on our way to oblivion!" His voice, like Lady Tabitha's had been, was sing song. Then a certain song sparked into his head and he couldn't help but sing it. He wasn't perfect, but wasn't horrid. He was okay at it, really. "We're on our way, from misery to happiness to be.... uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh. Yeah we're on way, from misery to happiness to bee.....ee-ee-e..." He laughed again. The song put emphasis on the word 'be' at some parts, but it made it seem like it was almost saying 'Bee.' He decided to make a play off of that. "Except I've already made my way from misery to happiness to Bee, so really, there's no point."
They'd made their way down, with a little trouble once in awhile, to the end of the down-seeking staircases. And boy, was he grateful. The movement of them really, truly did make him nervous as anything. So nervous, in fact, that he actually hadn't noticed that he and Bee'd had linked arms, although the singing and laughing could be blamed for that as well. Not that he really minded the friendly gesture, he was just curious as to when it happened.
Walking outside, a smug look on his face, he sighed as he felt a light breeze and the cool air against his skin. He loved the outdoors, the feel and look of it, but especially the smell. He could smell the scents of the grass, and, if he concetrated, that of the trees coming from the Forbidden Forest as well. He was very pleased that Bee had suggested coming out to the grounds for awhile. Since there was no one besides them around, the noise and smell and sight of the students couldn't be found anywhere. "Reminds me o' my great-granda's place in Scotland on summer trips." He had reaquired his Scotsman accent, and a slight speech in it as he relaxed into the dark.
He looked to Bee again, his free hand reaching up to ruffle her hair around a bit. "So how was your break? Been stud'in' a' all or workin' with them kids?" Usually she had some story or other to tell after a summer's leave. Or at least, she had them in previous years. This charity event, that kid with the horse, new recipe or clothing experience, hotel remodeling...some of the topics, he admitted, were a little dull, but not as much so as others tended to think. He'd gotten used to it, what with his aunt and uncle and the parents of his uncle running a casino.

Bridgette smiled happily the whole ways down to the grounds. Julian, being the odd goofball he was, had been singing the whole way and she found it surprisingly hilarious. He sang her name for a while, and then finally they reached the outside world. She sniffed the air and felt the cold breeze make goosebumps erupt on her pale skin. Her greyish-blue eyes twinkled with the reflection of the moon and the clear almost black sky. She inhaled deeply letting the cool scents seep into her. It was quiet. And wonderful.
Just then Julian commented on how it reminded him of his grandparent's house she smiled softly. Hi accent always made her smile. It was charming and one of her favorite quality's about the boy. As he ruffled her hair a warmth spread through her and he heard him address her his accent still flowing normally off of his tongue. She was glad he at least was relaxed around her. She smiled once again when he asked about her summer and she nodded pulling him along towards the lake, and a few trees in the distance, her favorite spot to sit. "Well I worked in the stable's this year for the first month of summer but later on me mum had me helping with this charity ball...I had to dress up in a big blue frilly gown and present some awards and dance with a few old men. Though it was actually quite fun and the people were charming to say the least."

Į Į Į ڗuŀìaŋ "Պąç" ՊąçĞՒęgöՒ ৗ ৗ ৗ”Don‘t let the times get you down. It‘s not worth it.”Julian found himself being led away from where they were, which was rather smart considering that they would be easily spotted just in front of the castle. And getting caught on his first night back was not in his agenda, no matter how awesome it would be to see the headmaster's face at such an early rule-breaking would be. "Now really, Bee, were air (are) you takin' meh? Kidnappin' air ye?" He knew she wasn't, but still he couldn't resist the tease. After all, she was taking him out of sight into the dark towards the lake and its surrounding trees. "Not 'ape I 'ope." he continued to tease. He knew someone as sweet as she would never do such a thing in their lifetime.
He shut his trap and listened to her story, his eyes lit up though hard to see in the dark from his amusement in it. He was trying to imagine her in a blue, frilly grown. It took him a moment, but the image eventually came to mind. "So only the ol' men had enough wits 'bout them to ask yeh to dance? What 'bout them lads? Have they no common sense or air they chickens?" He knew lot a whole lot of younger people ever showed up to charity events, and even fewer took interest if they did. So he decided that if they had shown, then they were both idiots and chickens, just to fill his biased opinion over Bridgette.
He thought that she seemed a little disappointed that she'd only had one month's time in the stables, which she very well could have been or have not been. He didn't read her mind completely, even at this stage. So he decided he was going to tease her a whole bunch to try and get her to forget about it. "Stable girl in a gown? 'O knows, maybe ye had too much dir' on ye for 'em to care. Only them old folk felt bad and were used to dir' an' felt bad for ye." He was grinning the entire time he was saying all of this, though he was unsure how aware of that she would be or if she would take offense to what he just said.
