Hey everyone... I'm wondering if anyone could tell me... as a Canadian Highschool student, whether Advanced Placement, or International Baccalaureate program would give me a better shot at university in the states...
My top picks for universities:
-Stanford -MIT -Harvard Maybe?
If someone could also recommend tech universities it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Do you have to choose between advanced placement and International Baccalaureate? If you can manage multiple honors programs you stand a better chance.
Have you looked at admission requirements for those campuses yet? If you haven't already, check the websites and find out what they want for minimum requirement for enrollment. It's a benchmark you will want to well exceed.
I can't give much advice about what tech program to shoot for, but any of those three schools would have a good one. You might want to check out some of the west coast schools as well, because those 3 are often quite elitist and hard to get in for residents (unless you have a rich dad who's an alumni, in which case you are a shoo in sweatdrop )
Regardless of where you choose, make sure to send in your application the very first day allowed. This is advice my mother gave me and she works in the financial aid departments of various colleges across the US as a consultant. It can make a difference to hard to enroll in schools.

I don't have any advice for you, being that I am more skilled in the sciences of failure than in overachieving. If, however, you someday decide that you want to take an entire lifetime's worth of "sick day"... you know who to turn to.

Funny that this should come up now. I was going to make my own topic about it, but figured I'd hijack this one instead.
I... am looking for a decent art school somewheres out in the Midwest, specifically speaking, one that specializes in animation. I'm looking mainly at Indiana, but Ohio, Minnesota or Illinois would be acceptable too. We're planning a Bog Move sometime this year (hopefully) and my resumed education will play a big part in what city I choose to move to. For what it's worth, most online school review sites seem to be nothing but ads and embellishments, so I've stopped looking at those. ******** 'em.
Anyone have any ideas?
