Actually, I never watch TV.
However, I have seen some absolutely brilliant shows on DVD lately. Has anyone seen Dexter, or Carnivale?
I'd recommend either of these.
What would y'all recommend?

i watch tv very little too, but when i did watch, it were mostly series, or really seldom good films (if you want to watch a good film her, you have to buy the dvd, cause it only plays nonsense on tv, or if they play a cinema movie, they only played five years after the release...)
american series i watched are grey´s anatomy and desperate housewives. oh yeah, i really HATE all of the CSI series, every time i´ve watched it, there was a certain bug that only lived in a very small area, and with those they found the murderer, or some similar things...
i don´t watch animes on tv either, cause the german dub is SOOOO bad, you´d die of laughter if you hear it (besides they´re translating it wrong, the voices don´t fit either)

I usually don't watch T.V.
If you find a DVD series called Firefly, though. Pick it up. It's one of my favorite series that got taken off the air. It's kind of like a space western.
I watch Scubs occasionally...but that's one of those shows where "that's so stupid it's funny" takes effect.
EDIT: I've seen Dexter. My god, that series is amazing.

I don't watch much TV anymore other than the Discovery/Nat. Geo. channels. But I love my SciFi. Doctor Who and Torchwood are my two favorite shows EVAR.

I saw some Torchwood, including the premiere episode. It was alright, but I certainly wasn't jaw-dropping like Dexter. I can't wait for season 2 to come out on DVD.
What about The Venture Bros. Has anyone seen that brilliant bit of comedy?
Other comedy shows I love are Arrested Development, Scrubs, (Yeah, it is so stupid it's funny, but it's still funny, and the characters are great) and The Office.

Don't watch much TV, but I'm a diehard fan of series House. heart It's finished for a while now though, ( crying ) so I think I'm gonna go into withdrawal lol.

Yea the characters are classic, although the latest ones aren't as good coz he doesn't have his old team which sucks. crying I'm gonna try and rent some back episodes to keep me going for summer holidays lol. xd

I don't watch TV too often as well. I'll usually watch cartoons, Comedy Central, or the Discovery. Scrubs is great, haven't really watched it in a while. I'm no good at keeping up with shows when I do watch TV.
