The light click of boots echoed down the dark and dank alleyway. Soft pink eyes peeked out from under a dark cloak, the cape billowing as he quickly rounded the bend. A small dainty hand clutched the cloak closed, a slight frightened shake to his hand.
Soudnign out fo breath, the small one sat down on a crate, takign this tiem to rest for a moment. The poor little thing had been running, keeping away from everyone... anyone could be the enamy. He had no dout his father would have sent soemone out to fidn him by now. The Jewel of the family, the pawn int he game. But no longer, he was now free, but what to do. He'd never been free before, nor outside the estate; this was all strange to him. Of course he watched television and what not but that never did justice to the real outside world.
"Ah... what am I goign to do?"

The city was a crowded blur to Faolan. He still hadn't totally adjusted to his half-blindness. Plus Faolan had only been in this city for a few days now. It took searching just to find the small building he had rented a room in for the week. Renting this room left the wolf with barely any money. He had only managed to bring a little money from his town. Faolan had fled from the war afterall, this didn't leave much time to grab stuff.
After wandering around, he was still unable to find the building he was looking for. The city was too confusing for the tired seme and the sun was already setting. Faolen's vision was even worse in the dark.
He turned down an alley, the place looked....kinda familar...maybe...

Once his breath was all caught up, Elijah sighed heavily as he looked around more at his surroundings. He honestly had no where to go and no real game plan. All he knew was there was no way be was being traded to another country to be some Princes trophy wife. He rather die then go back, he knew what his own father and this Prince was planning and it was unsettling how they wanted him to come into play in their plan.
Rubbing his neck a little, he startled at the sound of footsteps comming his way. With a purse full of gold, even he knew he was a prime target to get robbed. Getting to his feet frantickly, he turned to find somewhere to hide. However in his panicy movements, Elijah's boot got caught up in his cloak and he toppled over the crate, knockign ti over and hitting the ground roughly with a sharp cry.

Faolan was startled by the sudden movement of someone else in the alley. The seme hadn't even seen anyone else. But now he could see a boy on the ground. It looked as though he had tried to get too fast and had fallen over. Faolan saw that this boy was a sheep and looked quite different. His clothes looked expensive and he had an innocent look to him.
What would a kid like that be doing here?
After a moment, Faolan realized that he had probably scared this boy. Did he look scary? He kept walking until he was only a few feet from the boy on the ground. "I'm not gonna rob you or anythin'," he said examining the boy. Faolan never was very good at making conversation.

Elijah's breath caught in hsi throat when he was spotted, large violet eyes wide as he looke dup at the seme. Ears folded down as he pulle dhismelf up into a sitting position. He was all wet, and looked close to tears as he was pretty frightened. One of his maids said that he could trust no one, that everyone was out for themselves.
Putting down his little dark hand, he flinched and brought it up against his chest a little as he shook. "U-Um...I-I've got nothing anyways! S-So... th-there'd be no point!" he stammered nervously.

The poor uke looked scared to death and was now soaking wet. It couldn't be more obvious that he wasn't used to a life in the streets. Faolan could also tell that he had money, something that the wolf was low on. He could probably take it from the uke easily...
Faolan shuddered at his last thought. He had never stolen before, and never would. But his own thoughts had scared him for a moment. The past war had left its mark on him. "Are you lost?" he questioned putting his bandaged hand out towards the boy. The least he could do was help the uke up from the wet ground.

"No... not really.... more trying to find a way... to get away" Elijah said softly, looking at the others hand for a moemnt. Meekly reaching out to take the others, he kept his dark hand agaisnt his chest while his little white hand did all the work. The little lamb knew he had to find a way to get out of here, but he didn't know what to do. He just felt so lost and useless. He wanted to get to another town, as far away as he possibly could from his father and that Prince. But all he had was the clothes on him and a purse fulll oh gold. He knew those things could only get him so far with the experance he had.

In a way, the uke reminded Faolan of himself. Having escaped his home town's war, he had to get as far away as possible. He wanted to travel to a place so far away that the people there wouldn't even know the name of his town. This was a terrible goal, Faolan had no money and was still getting used to only using one golden eye.
"Where are ya trying to get to?" he asked curiously. Then he remembered that he didn't even know the boy's name yet. But the boy seemed shy and nervous, would he even answer Faolan?
"Well...anyway, I'm Faolan," he added, noticing that it had become quite dark.

That was a pretty good question, where did he plan on going? He just rushed out of there as soon as he had a chance with no plans or anything. "I.... in all honesty I really didn't have tiem to think about that... all I know is I'm not safe here" He said softly, shiftign from foot to foot.
"My names Elijah...." The little lamb said gently, his little tail swishign a little. This wolf didn't seem so bad, a little scruffy and indimidating but harmless so far. "Why are you here? D-Do you live around here?"

Maybe Faolan wasn't that scary after all. He hadn't scared Elijah off at least. The wolf was just happy to be talking to someone, the people in the town seemed to avoid the seme for some reason. It had been ages since he had talked to anyone.
"Well I don't really live here," he answered looking down the alley. "I rented a room, but I can't seem to find it now. My night vision isn't the greatest." This was a bit embarrassing to admit. Faolan had been wandering around looking for the sign marked, "Bindy's Place" for a while now.

"Oh" He said softly, looking aroudn as the daylight started to fade. Elijah was starting to get a little frightened out here, there were so many scary and unknown sounds to him. "I could help you find it?" The little lamb offered, a tiny smile on hsi face. If he went with the other he could possibly get a room there as well and then find a map so he could figure out where to go.

Faolan thought for a moment. It would probably take the wolf a while to find the place on his own. Some help couldn't hurt. "If you help me find it, I'll let let your stay there," he said bluntly. The room was quite small, but would be enough for two people. Plus Faolan wouldn't mind having some company for once.
"The place is called Bindy's," he said trying to see through the dark. Faolan thought the place was around this part of the town.

A look of releif appeared on hsi face, a smile appearing shortly after once the other fully agreed. "Alright, but I don't want to impose on your room.... I can pay for part of it ... its only fair" Elijah said softly, shiftign nervously.
"Bindy's? Oh I think I passed it a few streets over..." He muse softly to hismelf, trying to remember if that was right or not.

"Don't worry about it, I already paid," Faolan didn't mind sharing his room. Elijah looked a bit nervous, so the wolf smiled his way.
His dark ears perked at the uke's words. "You know where it is?" he asked, "You could lead me there."
Faolan thought for a moment. He might have an some extra clothes or something for the boy to wear. The wet clothes looked uncomfortable.

Nodding reluctantly to what the other told him, he still felt a little guilty though the other offered and insisted. Tightening the cloat around him, he pulled the hood back up and nodded a little.
"Its not Far..." He smiled back at the other and started down the alley way back the way he had come from. The little lamb made sure no one could see hsi face as they walked, not wantign to be discovered.
Much to his worry, two guards from his estate came walking towards them, the little sheep paling slightly as he scooted a little more towards Foalan. Trying not to look like he was avoidign their gaze, he froze when one of them asked if either of them had seen a little white and black lamb, giving a quick description of Elijah.
Elijah looked at Foalan and then shook his head quickly, but not enough for his hood to fall back.
