These are heat generaters invented by Kazahana Sousetsu to bring spring to Snow Country. When activated by a key, the six-sided crystal handed down the Snow Country royal line, the generaters warm the surrounding area. Kazahana Koyuki once attempted a research project to permenently utilize the generaters, to bring eternal spring to the land. This experiment was never carried out for multiple personal and economic reasons. Tourists now come from around the world to vacation near the Rainbow Glaciers, what they call "The Glowing Treasure of Snow Country".
