According to this site, ZerCustoms, the new KITT is an awesome GT500KR!, Not that well-known trans-am David Haselhoff hung around with. This model includes 3 modes, ATTACK, HERO, and CAMOFLAUGE, which are all different body styles and/or paint schemes. It's supposed to also be the 40th anniversary edition which will output 540 HP. I love this thing and I think it will be a blast to drive!

I love the Mustang in knight rider.....except that atrocious spoiler stressed other then that *drool* its a sweet car

I'm a big fan of Knight Rider, so using a GT500 is kinda no for me. But I'll see how the show does before I comment on it.

I saw this car in real life! it was amazing at the NAIAS. they had the GT500 right next to it. I compared the two and the Bullit was basically the GT500 w/o the crome, and badges and the wheels where black. Oh and there was the Bullit badge on the back. but other than that it was the Mustang GT500. Yet for some reason it obsorbed so much more attention. I think this could be a new look for Ford.

Masticatius And a Trans Am wouldn't talk like that? The man makes a point. Although i've owned a Trans-Am before, and I currently own a Mustang, and i'm anything but a redneck.

i didn't watch the first knight rider (i don't exist at that time when it is aired)....but i know about the first KITT....
..i like the new KITT with it's abilities....and it's weakness is very acceptable.....
...i watched the TV movie...i think it's weakness is when the KITT's computer is turned off...the car is just a plain ordinary mustang...

Hey, am I the only one who realizes this post is comparing the Bullit Mustang to the GT500, and not the KR?! OFF SUBJECT DUDE! This isn't the Bullit, it's the KR! The KR is THE BEST model of mustang, ever. That little "KR", stands for "King of the Road", and it's there for a reason. They meant business when they made this, and it's a distinct model of the mustang. trust me, if you saw this thing, you'd definitely see a difference. Even the street look is special. Black-on-black isn't an option, and it can't be stock. I mean, you might be able to buy a model that's just a special black just like it would be only stock, but that would be it.
