Titles
Your titles need to explain what the body is going to explain. Who wants to have to read many paragraphs just to find out what it is about? This will help organize your guide and help users find what they need. This must contain proper English.

Body
This must be very description. Act as if this person just know found out what the inter net was. Don't assume they know to click this or that or to type in this. Use proper English and grammar. A body full of chatspeak, stickycaps, and 1337 will make a user not want to read.

Colors

Match
You want your guide to match. Simply pick colors that work well together.

Titles
All titles should be the same color and stand out more than the body. Brighter colors would be nice but still able to read.

Body
All bodies need to be the same color. It is best to use the basic black. It is easy to read on any computer color set up. Bright colors are the WORST to write for bodies. No one will want to struggle to read a paragraph. If there are important details that need to be noticed a color maybe not the best thing to do... Possibly bold the text rather than coloring.

Size

Titles
Titles must be a large size! They need to stand out. My suggestions is to use Large to X-Large. Bolding and Underlining are good as well.

Body
It is good to have the body a normal size font. Smaller may make it harder to read. Bolding, italicing, or underlining would be good if they are important.

Extra Tips

Frequently Asked Questions
Often times topics get asked many questions. Even if people haven't asked you anything an FAQ is a good thing to have. If you get many questions then it is good to post an FAQ to help clarify information

Images
Images can add some 'flare' but can be troublesome if not handled correctly. These are good to help explaining things or make nice titles. Just don't over due these.

Reserve
It is often good to 'reserve' 3-5 posts. This means posting 'reserved' and thats it. This will help if later you need to add somethings. This will make sure other member's posts won't be in the middle of your guide.
