With me, it's the same places every year, but it's extended family and loads of fun- and gifts...
On Christmas eve, we go to my brother-in-law's cousin's house. Usually about 40 extended family members are there. When my sister married her George, she actually married his entire family and visa versa. We eat, open presents and don't get out of there till close to midnight.
On Christmas, my youngest sister and brother-in-law usually host the more intimate family gathering. About 20 people at their house. Everyone was at the event the night before, usually, except my daughters who like to spend the Eve with their significant others' families. Works out well.

I'm going to be at my boyfriends for most the holidays. It will be my first time away from my family for Christmas day. My bf is from Labrador and i'm from Newfoundland so it's quite a trip from my home to his...a long ol' drive razz and ferry ride.
atm i got a pinched nerve in my back; it got worse from the drive :S so i'm relaxing and staying drugged up razz for the past few days of my holidays. Hopefully I will get to go snowmobiling before i leave to go to my home ^-^

i don't really have much planned except relax, and spend some time with my bf online...we are soo far away from each other (i am in ontario, and he is in washington)
for christmas, my one grandma is coming to my house on christmas eve, we will wake up and do our one christmas tradition thing here, have lunch, then we will go to my other grandma's house after lunch and do our other family tradition there...and stay for christmas dinner of course, then come home and sleep!!
