In the year 5000, technology has increased to it's highest potential. Things that had merely been a myth before are now part of everyday life. Unfortunately, few humans are alive to enjoy this achievement for with the discovery of artificial life, comes a great threat may wipe out mankind. Androids surround the streets, scouting out life forms they deem unworthy or inferior. Pollution fills the skies making it impossible for anyone to survive in the outside world for more then an hour. The human race has been forced to flee underground into the caverns and tunnels that hold the few remaining forms of plant life.
Hope has become a thing of the past, and all seems to be lost. The human race will soon end, and a new era of robotics will begin.
Yet, an old prophecy states that a group of survivors born from death and misery will rise to protect mankind and return the world to what it once was.

1. First and Foremost, this is a PRIVATE RP, but you are allowed to send me your character profiles if you wish to join. If you are literate enough then you may be accepted.
2. NO CYBERING. Not only is it disgusting but I'm going to have to hose down the thread after you're done. If you wish to take it that far then please switch to PMs.
3.Romance (no cybering) & violence encouraged, please keep swearing to a minimum. PG-13!
4. PM me all your profiles.
5. Absolutely no GOD-MODING! If you even think about being omnipotent, then I'll personally rip out your intestines and then shove them back down your throat. After that I'll ban you from the RP. Your character must have flaws & weaknesses!!!
6. Since this is a LITERATE ROLEPLAY, the word 'Literate' alone should be self-explanatory so I doubt I need to elaborate.
7.Third person and past tense only please. Use italics for thought, and "quotes" for dialogue.
8.When speaking out of character, please use some form of ooc. For example, [[]] or {{}} or (())
9.Your character must act their age, a few exceptions made!

My Birth Certificate Says:
Valentine Moss

But, Please, Call Me:
Val

Candles On My Cake:
Nineteen Years Old

The Best Day of the Year is:
14 February 4981

I Am a:
Female Cyborg

And I Look Like This:
[x]

Me, Myself, and I:
Val is as stubborn as a rock, and refuses to let anything bring her down. Once she sets her mind on something, nothing in the world will budge her. She's flirty to a fault and doesn't take much seriously. She knows life is short and she intends to live it to the fullest.

heart
-History: The events of the past fascinate Val. She can't believe all the life that the world once possessed and how they came to be.
-Technology:Even though technology had been part of humankind's downfall, Val knows that without it they would never be able to fend off the Androids that litter the surface world. She also owes her life to technology.
-Fighting: A natural born fighter, Val can take down men twice her size without breaking a sweat.
-Sleeping: Since reality has become a place of nightmares, Val prefers the dream realm where she gets the chance to reunite with her love ones.

burning_eyes
-Androids: Being the cause of the downfall of her people, and the death of her family, Val has a burning hatred for androids.
-Pollution:It has prevented so many people from enjoying the outside world. (Due to her artificial lungs, the pollution in the air doesn't affect her.)
-Death: It has taken so much away from her.
-Rules: Val was born to defy authority. She thinks the leaders who rule over the humans are way to strict and protective.

My favorite colour is:
Indigo

Oh! and:
From what meets the eye, Valentine Moss could be seen as a carefree girl who just wants to have fun. No one ever sees her without a smile on her face, and her eyes are always glimmering with mischief. Few would guess that underneath her cheery demeanor, lies a girl who has faced and survived death.
Unlike many of her kind, Val had been born in the surface world. A world that had long gone to androids and pollution, and so the first breaths of air that she took in were that of poisonous fumes. Her newly developed lungs and skin were no match for the poison, and so within a few days, Valentine Moss was in a deathly state. The city's best medical doctors tried everything they could to save her life, but all seemed hopeless for she was merely an infant and lacked the strength to fight off such an illness. Her skin and most of her organs began to dissolve away. In one last attempt to save their daughter's life, Val's parents took her to a madman who claimed he could make humans 'one' with technology. They thought that if they could find a way to replace her vital organs with that of machines then their little girl may have a chance of survival. They were right.
The madman, implanted robotic parts made of artificial tissue that would serve as the girl's new organs.
But with the new gift of life, came a curse. Val was no longer considered a human to the people. She was treated like an outcast and would have been exiled if it hadn't been for her parents, who were strong warriors who fought against the Androids.

Growing up in total isolation, Val had always lacked friends. She learned to make due with her situation and found to ways entertain herself. Surprisingly enough, she holds no shame or resentment for herself or the people who had abandoned her. Even after her parent's death, Val continued on to maintain a carefree attitude and refused to let life bring her down.
She learned several types of martial arts through the books and scrolls that had survived throughout the years and trained to strengthen her body. It wasn't long before Val followed in her parent's footsteps and became a strong warrior.
Unfortunately, the rebel army would not accept a half-breed and refused to let Val fight among them.
But it wasn't in her nature to give up, and Val believing that it was her destiny to finish her parent's duty, took it upon herself to stop the Androids. For two years she fought them off on her own. Several times she was nearly killed and during one encounter, Val lost her right eye, buteven this would not stop her. Val had a dream to fulfill and she won't stop until she's reached it.

OOC|| There's my profile heart I won't post any IC's until you guys post your profiles, so if I disappear that means I've left. Just start RPing without me and I'll catch up on it when I get back on.

Kamrynn Leeanne Onasi

But, Please, Call Me:
Kam, Kami or Doctor Onasi

Candles On My Cake:

The Worst Day of the Year is:
25 January 4983

I Am a:
Sugar + Spice + Everything Nice Young Woman

And I Look Like This:

Every one of her limbs are prosthetic, but made of a special combination of machine and cloned cells from her own blood (her own invention). She has short copper-red hair with blonde highlights and dark green eyes.

Me, Myself, and I:
"Listen to me, and you'll et where you're going." - K.O.

Puts on a tough exterior. She has a fiery temper, neurotic personality, and can be quite stubborn and childish (as a way of mocking those around her). She suffers from migraines constantly, though no one is sure if this is a side effect of her bionic-organic parts or a brain defect. She needs to be right about everything, and despite age, treats everyone around her like toddlers. Though she doesn't tend to trust Humans, she has a quiet bond with androids and machines, especially Orion, whom she named after a page of text she found describing things called "stars" and "constellations" after her favorite formation.

Because of her love of androids and desire to be with them, people regard her as "one of them", mad, and foolish to turn her back on her own kind, while in fact she remains a neutral party. Through she can sometimes appear psychotic, preaching how only the strong survive in Darwinism, and why this instance should be no different, it is easy to forget that she has a heart for humans, too.

heart
-Orion (the only one whose ever loved and been there for her)
-Androids (the only ones who respect her as their creator)
-Machinery (the one thing she has control over)
-Books (carry her into another world of her own imagination)
-Being Right (seems to make things easier)

burning_eyes
-Soldiers (the morons that crippled her int he first place)
-The Pollution (a weakness)
-Migraines (a debilitation)
-Humans (an annoyance)
-Any kind of weakness on her part (needs to be strong...no one else will dare to try)

My favourite colour is:
Copper

Oh! and:
An inventor, once classified as a child prodigy. After the creation of her prized android, Orion, at age 11, she has been looking into prosthetic rehabilitation and expansion: organic flesh and machine to become a substitute limb. She had tried the prototype graph on Orion, but it still was unknown how a human being would handle it. After an accident caused by a group of drunken human soldiers, her former home, and a lighter that left her without any limbs, she decided with him to test the finished product on herself, leaving her with scars on her mind and body. To this day it is difficult to tell where her prosthetic parts begin. The limbs have given her newfound strength, and hope to those who continue to survive the rubble. Some have called her mad, though most do not know her personally: only of the logo to the product.

Had a scientist father who went off to search for other inhabitable planets while she was still very young, before the war with machines had reached it's dawn. Her mother was never known and probably ran off at an early age. She had been alone for most of her life, save for machines, so her mind has warped in such a way that they are the only thing she has.

She continues to work for both sides, acting anonymously, and sometimes through her android, Orion.

My Birth Certificate Says:
Orion

But, Please, Call Me:
Ri (pronounced as "rye")

Candles On My Cake:
Roughly 6 Earth years since creation (looks about 19)

The Best Day of the Year is:
4 November 4994

I Am a:
(Male)

And I Look Like This:

Orion has long white-blonde hair and beautiful cerulean eyes. Many people consider his appearance particularly Angelic, something out of a Fantasy novel.

Me, Myself, and I:
Kind, patient, and a bit on the naive side. He seems to have learned human emotions well, including love. He is usually very concerned about Kamrynn and gets upset with her when she questions his care for her. Kamrynn worries that he trusts people too much, and that someday his kind nature will backfire and only end up hurting him.

Kamrynn never programmed a personality into him, and what he has become is solely of his own development. Because of his nature, as well as his near-human body made from part organic and part mechanical materials, Kamrynn speculates that he might evolve even further into a being that could call themselves a full-fledged human. Whether physically or emotionally, no one knows for sure.

heart
-Kamrynn (knows she would do anything for him)
-Humans ("poor innocent children")
-Being of Assistance (leaves you with a good feeling inside)
-Emotions (feeling human is so wonderful)

burning_eyes
-Defiance (Kamrynn....)
-Selfishness (Kamrynn?)
-Soldiers (violence only causes pain)
-What the Earth has become (*sigh* so much potential wasted)

My favourite colour is:
”Sky” Blue

Oh! and:
Orion was created by Kamrynn Onasi at age 11. He was designed to be more than mere machine: an attempt at a more human android. Everything about him biologically is humanoid in nature (with a few slight differences); he even has the capacity to handle human emotions, though complicated. When he was first activated, he accidentally kicked his creator, Kamrynn, across the room in a fit of rage (she was leaning in against his chest to kiss him in order to activate language with the touching of lips). This caused her to burst into tears at the pain and activated his first emotion: guilt. A part of him never forgot it, and ever since then he’s tried to keep the girl out of the way of pain.

Kamrynn had originally built him because her father told her to “Build an Angel to watch over you while I’m gone.” Though she knew it was a joke, Kamrynn took it in as inspiration.

Orion does most of Kamrynn's housework and loves to cook for her (usually health food, or what their culture refers to as such *moss, wild vegetation, mushrooms, etc*)

He feels for Kamrynn and honestly feels that he can save her before she does something drastic: like try to join the android soldiers. Though she acts as she might actually do it, Orion knows her better than anyone and has seen that she is a genuinely good person inside.

Unlike most androids, he loves humans and feels the Earth should be shared, and that androids should protect their creators. When speaking, he usually sounds more sane than Kamrynn herself.

((of course. I plan to double soon as well. so who wants to start?))

My Birth Certificate Says:
Nessa Mary Ade.

But, Please, Call Me:
Mary.

Candles On My Cake:
eighteen.

The Worst Day of the Year is:
15 August 4982.

I Am a:
chick.

And I Look Like This:
Big round grey eyes, often with dark circles underneath. Light blonde, shoulder length, thin, curly hair. Skin and bones build with the slightest bit of muscle, 5'5, fair skin.

Me, Myself, and I:
Cold, cruel, and caring is Mary in three words. She has a tough exterior and is often sarcastic and pessimistic. She appears invulnerable to the common gory and bloody sights one sees in the streets and she claims to be fearless, (she is quite brave). Her younger brother, Romeo, calls her Wednesday Addams, although it is a bit of an exaggeration. She hates the fact she got stuck with her three younger siblings, plus Dolan, but she loves them dearly and would fight for them to the death. She is not physically strong but she has deadly aim&skill with any weapon. When weapon-less she tends to use words either sassy and smart or confusing to avoid trouble. She's more of a get ahead gal verse getting along. Mary is a leader, and she's bossy, stubborn, rebellious and competitive. Her main weakness is her temper which can make her quite dangerous to even those she loves. Regardless she is very loyal to her family and a few other select people.

heart
-Kailas (12, brown eyes, blonde straight hair).
-Romeo (10, blue eyes, brown straight hair).
-Annie (3, green eyes, faded brown wavy hair).
-Dolan (exact age unknown, infant, grey eyes, a little light red hair).
-The defiant immune system that she is gifted with, along with her siblings (not Dolan).

burning_eyes
-her siblings&Dolan (it's a love-hate relationship).
-almost any form of government.
-"bubbly" people.
-androids.
-scientists/inventors, save for her father.

My favourite colour is:
dirty blood.

Oh! and:
Mary is practically an anarchist. She is with the rebels, but is not active much far from her post because of her siblings. She hopes to change that situation soon. She heads circulation of supplies to other rebels; along with Kailas and Romeo she spies on the closest Headquarters that constantly spews out androids.

Her mother disappeared after the birth of Annie. It was completely unexpected since her mother gave no sort of warning. Mary quickly let her go, or so she acted to. All three men of the family showed great distress with her absence.

Mary's father was a scientist of medicine and he created an antibiotic that made his children's immune systems like steel. He had the same immune system but that did not stop the androids who doomed his practice and his life.

For the past two years Mary took on the responsibility of her siblings' lives. She randomly found Dolan, in a horivator a few levels above her flat. It was Annie who innocently insisted on keeping him, but Mary seems him as a burden because of his normal immune system... and the simple fact that he is a baby.

With her immune system she is able to be outside longer than the typical human, but it gives her no protection against bullets or androids, only the polluted air and nasty viruses that sweep through cities. She would never admit it, but she worries constantly about Dolan because he is so weak.

((Ooc: Ooh. I can see the conflict options from a mile away! *grins and rubs hands together* Fun! I guess I could go first. I have an idea.))

The warm flicker of a flame filled the rusted copper walls. There had been another raid last night. They had to hide again. It was getting hard to tell who it was that wanted them dead this time, whether it be human or android, but both decided to play it safe this time and duck into an abandoned bomb shelter. They were everywhere these days. The figure of a handsome blonde sat curled up at one end of the decaying old matress they were using as a bench. His surreal blue eyes lay focused on the other.
"You should wear you gas mask, Kamrynn." He moved closer, gently putting his arms around her and drawing her nearer for warmth. "Believe it or not, you're still human. You need to breathe...and the surface is not a good place to rely on your lungs alone."
The one he held was a girl with red-copper hair and green eyes. She had no freckles, as she was not usually exposed to sunlight. She stared back at him and burst into laughter. "As you command, Your Highness." She whispered back through her chuckles, securing the mask onto her mouth. Something about her laughter seemed both sad and terrifying.
The boy frowned. "You're not well..." He said, staring into the flames. "You haven't sounded right for a while...does you head hurt?"
Kamrynn seemed to have quieted down from her fit. She shook her head. "No, Orion. I don't...thank you." She sounded more serious now, checking the pressure gage on the purification vent she had installed into it herself. This model was just a prototype...but no one else would ever get to use it.
"Orion?" She looked back up at him, her voice muffled slightly be the device. "Am I...a bad parson?"
Orion blinked. "Why would you say that?"

A long pause wedged between the two. Finally, Kamrynn sighed. "...Nevermind."

The truth is, the two had been enemy number one on both sides. It was hard to remember who you were helping anymore. All they wished was to create some type of peace for both parties, although they each had their own individual biases. Kamrynn had been raised alone, with only machines to guide her. She saw humans as useless and flaky companions. Although she did a umber of things to help their plight, she looked up to the androids on the surface. She was so quick to swap her natural limbs for artificially created ones... Everyone was sure she was mentally ill.

...Except for Orion. She had created him when she was only eleven years old. Oddly enough, he resembled a human rather than an android, both inside and out. Orion sympathized with the humans, regarding the android soldiers as tyrants and cowards. After all, who could kill their own creators? Their own mothers, fathers, siblings, daughters, sons...families? Kamrynn Onasi was his family. She was human, whether she chose to fully admit it or not...and still, he loved her. He could never hurt her. Even if she took such a dark path and began to exterminate everyone in her path, even if she chose to give up on humanity completely, even if she shed her mortal body and became one of them...she would still love and respect her as his creator, his mother, his best friend...

Together, they would go from the underground to the surface. Their vow was to rebuild who and what they could. Both could agree on this. Kamrynn, however, was often hunted down for this by both human and android alike. Of course, they got praises on both sides, but they didn't nearly compare. They constantly kept moving....but luckily, they had managed to remain nameless so far. They had little to no reputation among any party. No one knew who they were or what they did until they did it. And after they had done their job, Kamrynn would most likely erase their memory, if they were an android, or convince them the entire incident was a dream.

Kamrynn worried how Orion would fit in with either group. He worked so well with humans, you wouldn't be able to tell he wasn't himself unless you were to cut him open, which was Kamrynn's greatest fear. It was even worse if an android had mistook him for a human and attempted to annihilate him, in which the girl had to intervene numerous times. He could pass for an android if he needed to, but was often reluctant.

OOC|| Guess it's my turn ^^

-Think happy thoughts and it'll all go away...Happy thoughts....Happy thoughts...-
Val squeezed her one good eye shut and leaned back against a heavy metal wall that had once belonged to a bomb shelter. Off in the distance she could hear the footsteps of the Androids as they searched the arena.
She could feel the beads of sweat pour down the sides of her head but she barely dared to wipe them off. Every moved she made would determine whether or not she would survive this encounter and right now looking serene was not one of her major priorities.

Blood seeped through the thin metallic suit she wore. They had been the results of arbitrary acts. If only she had thought things through before she charged into that ambush. She had underestimated her opponents which may as well lead to her demise. With her bullet filled leg, any chances of escape were slim to none.

Through the medical books she had read, Val knew that pain could easily be eased if the victim took deep breaths to relax the muscle. Unfortunately, with the new prototypes the Androids had created, every breath, every movement could be detected no matter how small.

-Think girl! THINK!!- demanded Val to herself. If she wanted to survive this match, she would have to focus on the environment rather then the inhabitants. There just had to be something she could use that would throw the balance of the battle into her favor.

"With every problem, there comes a solution. " whispered a voice inside her head. Opening her eye, Val ignored the advancing footsteps and stared out at the land in front of her. There wasn't much she could work with. Several empty barrels and a broken metal bench. Suppressing a cry of frustration, Val continued to scan the area; if she gave up now her life would be over.

Finally, after another second of searching her eyes landed on a small and round metal object. It was quite a ways away but she knew that if she didn't make her move now, then the Androids would make it for her.

Lunging forward, Val gave a sharp cry of pain as she fell on her injured leg, and yet she continued on forward to grab the device she had recognized as a viral grenade. Throughout the years of war between machine and flesh, scientists had created a grenade that would deliver an airborne virus that would only affect machines. Any unfortunate Android that happened to encounter it would be short circuited and shut down.

Grabbing it, Val pushed the button that would activate the device and threw it behind her. "Please don't be a dud" cried Val as the object flew through the air. She closed her eye and waited, it would take several seconds for the device to go off.

Those seconds, however, seemed like years as the girl sat there with her hands over her head. She remained there in that recovery position for several more seconds before she mustered up the courage to open her eye. The Androids would have gotten her by now, if the grenade had been defected.

Using her arms, she managed to drag herself over to the metal wall that had been the barrier to her hideout and looked over it. Ten metal objects the size of an average man, laid upon the ground as if they had been dropped from the sky.

Turning back around, Val gave off a sigh of relief, and turned her attention to her leg. There must have been at least five bullets in there.

"With every problem, there comes a solution. " muttered Val as she took out a hunting knife.
She would take the bullets out herself, and let her artificially enhanced body do the rest. It would merely take hours for her leg to heal. The hardest part would be surviving the pain, and any Androids that happened to wander by.

((okay, I'm going to try to respond. Right now I'm scared out of my mind because I have an audition for The Sound of Music in an hour. So I'm not thinking clearly, but let me try. And wow - yeah our characters clash major!))

"The last effects of the raid have thinned out. And the droids..." Mary's speech slowed at the surprising sight in front of her. "Umm, over." She dropped her transradio which burst into particles upon contact with the street and quickly filtered through the ground.

Mary pulled out a deactaser casting around suspicious glances. She shot at a couple of the androids on the floor, they were definitely deactivated. Bewilderment filled her as she wondered why this level was empty of activated androids and there was a pile of deactivated androids with no signs of struggle on their part; it was a most uncommon sight. She then spotted the viral grenade - or the remains of it and lowed her deactaser but kept her left hand wrapped around her Delpha 4. She knew something had to be out there and she wouldn't shy away from reaching for her Swiper 747.

Spotting a metal wall Mary casually walked towards it, for the protection. Then suddenly she heard the ringing of bullets and she leapt behind the wall. Out of the corner of her eye she saw a girl but her attention was on the stream of bullets decorating the other side of the wall. Their source could not even be seen. Mary tucked away her Delpha and unstrapped the big gun from her back. "Get out of here," she muttered, not even glancing at the girl.

Mary wasn't sure why she hadn't opened fire yet, even since Dolan, she had started to think about things even though it was her nature to do then think. Besides, she still couldn't see the source.

((aiyee! gotta go.))
PostPosted: Mon Dec 17, 2007 3:26 pm

OOC|| Good Luck!!! The Sound of Music was an alright movie. I loved the plot but there was just too much singing. The songs always got stuck in my head.

BIC|| Taking advantage of the few minutes of peace, Val took her time. She was in no rush to drive the sharp edges of the blade into her leg to retrieve those bullets.
After several more minutes of delay, she told herself that if she didn't do anything soon, the artificial tissue in her body would heal over those bullets. It that should happen then it would be harder for her to get out of the predicament she was in now. She was still in enemy territory and would not be safe until she returned to the base.

Taking a deep breath, Val dug the knife into her leg and bit her bottom lip to keep herself from screaming out in pain. It wasn't long before her mouth was filled with the salty taste of blood, and yet she continued to remove the bullets. If she stopped now, she would never find the strength to start again.

Her cheek was stained with tears of pain as she drove the knife into her leg to retrieve and remove the last bullet.
But as Val finished her little medical escapade, the air became filled with the deafening sound of bullets. Dropping her knife, she reached for her 9 millimeter, only to remember that she was out of bullets.

"DAMN IT!" cried Val in dismay. Her leg would be out of commission for another hour or so which meant she would have to fight them off with her hands. "Fists against bullets...how charming..."

"Get out of here"

Catching her off guard, Val turned and stared at the blonde who seemed to have appeared from thin air. Apparently, she had been too caught up in the removal of the bullets to notice arrival of another human.

Her survival instincts clicked in when she noticed the extra gun the woman carried. "Give me the Delpha." commanded Val.
This was no time for politeness and they both knew it. Introductions and apologies could be made later.

((oh, I love the musical! I practically grew up on it... But I didn't get the part anyway... okay, let's connect all three charras.))
((crap, g2g, be back soon, sorrry, choir concert))

Mary finally let a round go as the bullets aimed towards her did not cease. Still unable to see the source she sighed and ducked down to face the girl. "This Delpha won't do a thing against whatever is out there - whatever is capable of this fire. Take these." Mary pulled out two much smaller pistols that were strapped to each ankle. "Be careful, they are only prototypes and if they push you back off your feet - that means they are working, the results are beautiful!" Mary meant it quite literally too. The rebels had designed them for powerful destruction on small targets, and they literally pushed back the holder of the pistol with each blast.

Mary leapt up and fired another round, realizing how foolish it was to give a complete stranger R-prototypes. Well, right now she had to only be concerned with survival, if she had to kill off the girl later for safety reasons, she would.

The fire from the opposing side kept coming, and the rate did not seem to die down. "Come on... we need to get out of here, I know an old bomb shelter not too far behind us."

Mary ran fast towards the shelter, still firing behind her over the wall; she expected the girl to follow her but she couldn't steal a glance in her direction.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 18, 2007 4:11 pm

The sound of bullets pierced the air, echoing through the rusted metal door of the bomb shelter. Orion's expression seemed far more alert than it had been a minute ago. "Someone's out there..." He whispered. Kamrynn looked up. "That's the point, isn't it? Why else would we be hiding here?" The boy shook his head. "No..." He said slowly, getting up and walking toward the door. He closed his eyes and put his ear to the door to gather more data. "Two humans...are out there..."

Kamrynn twitched at the mention of humans. "Why would they be all the way out here?" Her voice was muffled by the mask she still wore, at the insistence of her comrade. Her brow furrowed as she further speculated. "They must be soldiers of some sort. Human soldiers...soldiers in general...are not to be trusted!" Orion glanced at her and shook his head. "Holding a grudge for this long simply isn't worth it, Kamrynn. Beside that, I don't think they are...if so, they aren't very professional. For all we know, they're just some civilians that got caught in the crossfire." "Civilians...on the surface. Right." One eyebrow raised slightly, only further proving her sarcasm.

The boy sighed. "Listen to me: whomever they are, they need help. Do you remember the promise you made to me?" Kamrynn nodded reluctantly. "Yes, but..." "That's enough!" Orion interrupted. "You promised me you would give aid to whomever needed it, for whatever reason. Now show some loyalty to me, for once, and---"

"ORION?" Kamrynn jumped out of her seat on the mattress, tossing her breathing unit aside. The humanoid android had stopped in his tracks. His eyes grew dim and he fell to the ground in a heap. "Ri...c-cut it out!" She shook him violently, but still, he did not move. The noise continued outside. It was then that she realized what must have happened. She seethed under her breath. "Humansss...." Her partner would reawaken later, through at the moment his system was shot. He was too heavy to carry over to the mattress, so for now he'd have to settle propped up against the wall near the entrance. -I'll come back for you...I'll protect you no matter what.- She thought, slowly prying open the steel door while drawing her gun. Whomever had caused Orion's short-circuit in particular didn't matter to her...but someone was going to pay. Preferably the ones who caused them to activate that weapon.

OOC|| Val's gonna be in trouble >.<

BIC|| Val winced as she felt the bullets pound against the metal she leaned on. She waited for a few seconds as the girl shot several rounds of bullets at an unknown source.

-Risky move, considering she doesn't know what she's shooting at.- thought Val. She opened her mouth to tell the blonde that she was merely wasting bullets, but before she could utter any words, a pair of pistols were thrown at her.

Catching them, Val grinned as she noticed what they were. "Prototypes are always fun..." muttered Val as she struggled to sit up straighter.

She glanced over the wall, and glared at the baren land in front of her. No signs of life was visable, and the source of the bullets seemed to be coming from all directions.

-Either the girl set off a trap, or we're surrounded by Androids- thought Val.

When she heard the girl say something about a shelter and getting out of here, Val turned around to say that she was incapable of moving anywhere on her wounded leg. Yet, before she could get the word out, the girl was already a few yards away from her, firing once again at empty space.

Rolling her eyes, Val turned back around and peeked over the wall. Since running away wasn't an option, the only thing left for her to do was find the source and destroy it.

With the new pistols she had recieve, she could probably take down three or four Androids.

"Let's just hope, there are only three Androids out there" muttered Val. She glared at the land with her one good eye, scanning for any movements. It took several seconds longer then she would've wanted, but Val finally managed to see a tall silver object about hidden behind an abandoned tank.

"Gottcha" whispered Val as she took aim. Tilting her head to the side a bit to make sure her aim would be accurate, Val pulled the trigger.

Mary was just about to make way into the shelter when she heard the unmistakable ring of the R-prototype. She whipped around to see a hole appear in a metal tower. The bullets from the other side stopped and Mary's first thought was she wanted to retrieve her prototypes. This caused her to look for the girl, who surprisingly was still on the ground.

Mary made her way over. "What is wron..." her voice drifted off as she spotted the girls leg and she frowned. "Oh," she whispered, strapping her Swiper to her back.

Mary leapt over the wall to inspect the tower. The closer she got she saw the more intricate detail that surrounded the whole. The girl had enough aim to shoot out the central control centre. She looked behind the tower to find a mass of androids littering the streets - they were all imprinted with the bullets of Mary's Swiper. She could only smirk. She hadn't even used the 747 on such advanced metallic so she hadn't expected it to penetrate the androids' covering, but it had, so she deemed the level safe, for now.

She headed back to the other side of the wall and held out her left hand for the R-prototypes. "If you are rebel-friendly there is a clinic a couple levels down that could take care of your leg," Mary started, in a monotone voice. She then noticed a trickle of blood that flowed down her left arm that she held out. She yanked off her spyro-armour from her arm to see where a bullet had grazed her arm. She still could feel no pain from it because of the rush of adrenaline that enveloped her body.

((Ooc: twisted Heheh...))

Green eyes scanned the area. "Them..." She hissed, spotting the humans, though it didn't take long to realize what they had done and why. Ambush. A small squad of androids appeared, running at her out in the distance.

She ducked back inside of the shelter, cocking her weapon. -They must've followed us...how did they...?- She swung back out again and took aim at the two girls....but couldn't pull the trigger. Orion would not approve of her killing another human. She had made a promise...and right now, he was the only thing that mattered to her. And from the looks of it, they had led the troop here int he first place. She lowered her gun, glaring at the ground, fighting herself about what she knew she had to do next.

A mechanical figure swooped across the skyline, aimed at the other group. Kamrynn winced, pulling her gun into it's range...and fired. A clear hole shone through it's chest as it fell back to the earth. "What a waste..." She said monotonously. "All those shiny new parts." A few more bullets shot into the crowd. A terrifying smile curled onto Kamrynn's lips. This helped relieve some of her anger...some.

Her gaze switched back to the other two girls off in the distance, like a serpent gazing at it's prey through the glass cage that separated them. They were untouchable now. She'd made up her mind...but a part of her still loathed it. Her real adversaries proved worthy of the conflict. Two bullets bounced of of the steel bomb shelter door. Kamrynn had to move fast in order to dodge them. She felt no real threat, unless one came close to her torso.

"Hey!" She shouted to the others. It didn't matter if the androids heard. They already knew the girls were there. Kamrynn was starting to develop a plan. "You coming or what?"
