continued from hereAstrid turns towards the child, her cloudy eyes soft, as if hurt, "yah yah, eet is Loghedge. I knowing to get here, have since I leetle girl, yah?" She smiles softly, the hurt gone, "come come, we must get going. Tck tck! Toor!" Thor, the cat, stood up quickly, bounding ahead of them a few steps before slowing down and raising his tail much like a squirrels, leading the two to the bridge and the city gates, the women's blanket covering up much of Jamies odd clothing from the guards, "Gud daug gud daug..." She pats the arm of one of the guards, letting it slide off as she walks by, her mind obviously elsewhere as she swatted slightly at the air, as if trying to wave away smoke from her eyes, "Eet always so smokey..." (if you want to invite others in that would be great XD)

So this place really was called Loghedge? That couldn’t be right, it wasn’t right, there was no way he could be anywhere near home, there wasn’t anywhere in England called that. Jamie wasn’t an expert, but he’d never heard of the place, especially one that looked so medieval.
This wasn’t right, none of this was right. Jamie was really worried now, terrified even, but he keep it inside, maybe he could find someone else, and not upset Astrid.
“Erm..W-where are we g-going now?” He stammered, as he looked down while twiddling his fingers under the blankets he wore.

Not really paying attention to Jamie, the older woman had wandered over to a merchant, nodding cheerfully as the middle aged man chatted at her as she stroked the cat sitting on the windowstill near by. After a few minutes, the man handed the older women a few coppers and a small tart.
Shuffling back to Jamie, she pressed the pastry tin into Jamies hand, Patting him on the forearm happily, as if she was a doting grandmother spoiling her grandson in secret from the parents, "Heere you go, kind meester Ericson is borrowing one of my katts to keep down the mice, and he woos nice enough to give me a treat. But you shood have eet, yah?"
She pats his hair, and then starts walking deeper into the city, "We should going shopping, see about getting you some clothes. Can't be sending you to... What was eet called?" Astrid pauses, rolling her eyes up in thought, "... Well, we cant having you in wet clothing weeth no shoes, yah?"

Jamie stood a little further away from Astrid as she chatting with the stranger, as he avoided the looks of the other civilians and their odd looks at him.
“Thank you” he said, not looking at her directly, as he received the tart, as he felt too embarrassed right now. Unsure if he should eat it now, but he was full from the breakfast Astrid had given him.
“G-g-g-loucestershire M-miss” He replied quietly, addressing Astrid as if she was his teacher. “T-thank you” he automatically responded again to her offer of new clothes. Despite the fact that in the back of his mind he didn’t really like where this was probably going.

After Jamie and Astrid had come into the city, a pair of guards had come along and spotted the youth and talked among themselves, but after hearing Jamie say he was from Gloucestshire or someplace like that, they knew they had one of the rumored strangers that had come into Loghedge. "Sorry lad, but you'll have to come with us now...the Baron would like to have an Audience with you." One guard took Jamie by the arm, while another offered Astrid his arm. "Ma'am, I'll escort you to where ever you need to go" Jamie to go here-
