But also, even if he had more than one friend, but only one was signed on at the time, what could he have said to indicate it? He still would have had to say "my friend's on!"

Haha. Well... I can relate to that, I really only get excited if I see wobina. I suppose that could change in the future but so far it hasn't. Most people only have one true BFF anyway in my experience.
