Our oil furnace is giving us fits.
It runs for a while, then coughs and wheezes and quits.
And it won't restart.
We have a small propane heater but it's running out of fuel.
And it's c-c-c-cooold!!
Does anybody else have heating issues?

Well, I spent what I had left over after Christmas gifting on a furnace cleaning and tune-up.
So far, it runs great!
I'm still uneasy about it, so wish me well.

Y'know what?
I really appreciate that!
You don't know me at all, but still wished me well.
Good for you.

Every time the furnace shuts off, I still wake up and watch the thermostat until it starts again.
I'm so insecure!
Like the cowardly heating lion.

Good luck from north of the border, and buy a free-standing fireplace/stove. After survivingthe great Ice Storm, I won't give up my wood stove. Learning from experiance!

We've lost heat for 12 hours most this winter, but our house managed to stay somewhat warm even still. Except my bedroom, which is always cold anyways. But it was worse. It was like sleeping outside in March. Because it was only slightly warmer-feeling than the outside.
Almost all of my friends have fireplaces, so they're only cold if they don't go get wood. Which is a pain on its own, I've heard. When our power goes out, we lose heat. What fun rolleyes

Laura Ingalls Wilder, that's the name.
