That's a tough one...
I think there's a slight possibility that he's a good guy, and that when He and Sasuke fight he's going to reveal the reason that he killed the clan, and it'll be of good intentions, and will be all shocking and Sasuke won't be able to kill him.
At least, that'd add some more drama!

dont really know, though he isnt all vad, after all he spared sasuke in the fight at the hotel...real bad guys wouldnt spare anyone, especially someone who could be a threat...

The manga just revealed him to be a good guy. and their word is final. So I guess that settles that. razz

Hard to say. The real reason why he killed the Uchiha clan was because the village elders ordered him to because they felt that the Uchiha wanted to take over the Leaf Village and they knew that Itachi wanted peace, so they had him take care of it. Also, the REAL reason why he wouldn't kill Sasuke wasn't because he didn't think he was worth killing, it was because he couldn't bring himself to kill his own little brother. And after Sasuke got the Mangekyo Itachi gave him his own eyes before he died so that Sasuke wouldn't go blind. So it's realy hard to say.

I don't know.....when I didn't read the part where tobi tells Sasuke that Itachti is good...I guess he waz EVIL...but now I don't know if Tobi waz lyin or Itachi was plain old EVIL question

well what tobi was saying was true,but however he was trying to manipulate sasuke into wanting to destroy the hidden leaf WHICH itachi was against and also if you notice while tobi talks to sasuke,tobi also uses the sharingan...but yet sasuke know that tobi is trying to use him,but sasuke is planning on using the akatsuki,just like how he used orochimaru.
