As Sorgren trudged through the streets she cursed the bright hot sun. Her head was pounding enough from last nights revelries; it didn't need the help of that cursed ball of fire. Nausea surged in her throat. She really should know better as old as she was. It wasn't like she was a young kid anymore. She was out on her own now. Making her way in the world. She wanted to make a difference and all she knew was death. The demons had hit her home hard, killing most of her family and friends. She still remembered the metallic smell of blood as it soaked into the soil, the sickening smell of bowels loosened in the last moments of life, the faces frozen in masks of death as if screaming in perpetual horror.

Shaking her head, trying to eradicate those nightmare images, nausea swelled again. She should really be paying closer attention to the people on the streets. She was vulnerable alone. The man she'd picked up in the bar last night had been fun for a tumble or two but certainly not someone to count on. Honestly, she couldn't remember his name or what he looked like. It is difficult to really see when passion combines with the shadows of night.

That was enough! Maybe some food would help her dislodge these maudlin thoughts. So what if she was alone. So what if death was her life. She headed for a tavern straight ahead. It was early in the morning maybe it would be quiet. At least it would get her out of this damned sunshine!

Why don't you make a character and we can RP together. Sorgren just walked into a tavern hung over. Your character can be in the tavern!

Yumehito sat in the back of the Tavern thinking about about how he would earn his next meal, hoping he wouldnt have to go back to the red light district. It had been over 2 months since he left home and a couple weeks since he had eaten anything desent .

(man... I ran out of money ...again... I cant even find a employer who will hire me , and I cant win any arena matches to earn some gold...maby I can find a week enough bounty.)*starts to cry softly alone*

Yumehito staired at the bowel in a daze for a few seconds before his hands shot from his sides to the bowel not thinking. he touched warm bowel to his lips ,forgeting his manners started slirping the stew then put the bowel down. His stomache groweled harshley breaking the akward silence in the room.

"Hey THANK YOU for the stew im soooo hungry " Yumehito started to look uncomfortable " but I dont know how I can pay you back ... Ive been broke for a while and I cant find anyone to hire me..."

"well... I guess I can do lots of things, but right now im trying to find a job as a mercanary for a guild " Yumehito's eyes brightended "why do you ask?"

"Oooooh really you would take me" Yumehito bursted out of his seat " I would love to Ive been looking at the posts at the pub and it seems like theres been a lot of demons spawning at the arena, want to check it out? A lot of the higher guilds streetears patrol there too!

Jade was quickly worming her way through the crowded marketplace, apparently she had made it in time for the morning house-wife crowd. She passed by quite a few burly looking men, she guessed that most of them were heading to work, but she noticed that a great deal of them were heading toward a large dome a few miles away.

The sun was beginning to beat down hard and the air was hazy from all the dust that the townspeople were kicking up. Jade grabbed the trailing ends of her cloak and proceeded to find somewhere, anywhere, to get out of the crowd.

'Geeze, this is why I try to avoid large cities...' she thought to herself. 'It's hard to concentrate in all of this bustle...'.

She found a tavern and almost skipped inside, the shade was welcoming. Summer was approaching fast and the weather definitely proved that. She looked to see two figures at the other end of the tavern, a tough-looking yet also kind looking girl and an animated boy were discussing something. Jade figured it was none of her business so she took a table near the back corner and pulled out her map of the area. It was an old crinkled map and was a little outdated, but there were plenty of red ink marks where she had edited the map. As she scritched some notes with her ink pen she looked up to notice that she was sitting near job offer postings on a billboard. She dug into her pockets to get her leather pouch from her rucksack.

She sighed. 'Looks like I'll be here longer than I thought...I'm not doing the best in the money department.' Despite this slightly depressing discovery, she smiled and went back to scratching on her map. She was good at odd jobs, she'd get her money sometime soon.
