yay looky here what avatarspirit.net has brought us. Screen shots from the NY anime convention! http://www.avatarspiritmedia.net/screenshots.php?ep=019apparently mike and bryan loved having the magazine as a bridge to season 3, so they sent over more pages than could fit in the magazine. So there are a few pictures of a comic about my favorite person, WANG FIRE! blaugh also there are a few scenery pictures from 3.12. and then there are so johane matte drawings. like the one with azula and haru, ozai, cabage merchant, and foamy. looks pretty interesting xd and then most stunning are the futuristic one, aparently for an epilogue, of older aang katara toph sokka zuko and mai. VERY INTERESTING so enjoy! mrgreen

the ones on the second page, are actually not from the story board it self XDD i beleive roofan from deviantart explained that XDD, but yea interesting lol i love the comics that they up though ^ ^
i'll post up a link to her deviant to show what i mean latter, right now i am at the libary and for some odd reason it won't let me use deviantart ;_;

so, february 29th has past, and with them the hopes of a speedy return of Avatar. Unforetunately, March is looking just as grim. However, i have my sites set on March 28th. Nick released its March Highlights, and no mention of Avatar at all. although, there seems to be a live action show on 'controlling water'... sounds like a rip-off of waterbending. so yeah, just some season 3 news for ya

(4/5/08 ) hey everybody, i have a few things to let you in on! =] guess what!? Mike and Bryan will be at New York Comic Con!! The Con is April 18-20th. There will be two Avatar panels, one on friday the 18th and the other on saturday. for more info see http://www.avatarspirit.net/index.php for more info, it is now the second story. and reporting from dongbufeng, there's gunna be answers to questions about one of the gaang's mother. "There are four possibilities, at last. There's the obvious, Zuko's mom. Then there's Katara and Sokka's mom. There's also Toph's mother. And then - there's the mystery of Aang's mother... we will at least know more about one of the above. Which one is it? The answer may surprise you..." they'll release which mom on monday. stay tooned and hopefully one day i can proudly post the episode 12 airdate. lol bye for now! 8] oh and one more thing, there will be a third Avatar game! ok i have that 'mom' update thing (like anyones read this... stare )
so anyway, straight from dongbufeng:
"It is Katara and Sokka's mom who we will see this season - that is right! Like I said I don't know any specifics - like the arc in which she will be in or the episode - but it is good information nonetheless. Is this when we will also see the villain with a "disturbing" connection to Katara and Sokka, as mentioned in the second all-Avatar magazine by head writer Aaron Ehasz? We will see, but I think based on this it is a good possibility.
Hope you all enjoyed that teaser! Let me throw another one at you. One character in particular will go missing "for awhile," as in we won't see him for a number of episodes. He is in some flashbacks, however. Who is the "old gasbag"? I think you know. Rumor has it he and his buddy are headed to Ember Island to meet up with Lo and Li, and that makes up the plot for 317!"
anyone need to know who the 'old gasbag' is? it's that old man from the white lotus society that Iroh played Pi Sho with in the Desert episode. sounds like he and iroh are making their way to ember island! ooo yay i love fresh info! mrgreen

Lol.. I was reading these.. sweatdrop So I appreciate the update. I'm excited about finding some more info out on Sokka and Katara's mom. Not to mention finally seeing Iroh again.
Anything said about the new episode for the US being shown on the 18th? It was a rumor that I saw on Nick.com.

(4/14) the final box set (book 3, volume 4) of Avatar will be released, and features a totally kick-a** box cover. its due out July 29th, 2008 (book 3, volume 3 will be out this May 6th) and I assume this would include 3.16-3.21, the final six episodes, though there is no indicating on the announcement about that.
