THE OPENING POST:
Hat: Credenza looked at Raven. There just wasn't much they could do in the situation. It was up to the guards that controlled the weapons of the subs.
Kit: Raven sighed and looked at Credenza and then at Deliza "What are we supposed to do? It's a sub battle, can't the guard ships handle it on their own?"
Kit: Deliza looked at him and said nothing, her ruby eyes still glowing softly.
Hat: A little ways away, the large pirate sub was barrelling down on the smaller one, shooting harpoons at it to try and hook it and reel it in like a fish.

Inside the smaller sub the two occupants were not aware that others were coming to their rescue. The younger of the two looked out a side port. "Papa! There's getting closer!" She was understandabley upset, orange eyes filled with fear for what their immediate future might hold. The young woman was slender of build though she still was taller than the other in the cockpit at 5'3". Her skin was as blue as a clear deep sky and her hair was the color of fresh cream.

"Keep calm, Cassie," said the middle aged man. In the smaller subs such as theres, the steering and weapons cockpit were one and the same, but he was struggling to control both. He was a short man, only about 3'4'', with large brown and white wings extending from his shoulder blades and folded on either side of the control seat. He growled to himself as he tried to press the old submarine onto faster speeds, his touseled brown hair disturbing his vision. "Cassie! Release power vents 1 and 3!" It was a risky move, similar to the one Credenza had pulled earlier to escape the were-sharks, and it would use up a lot of their power in exchange for a short burst of speed. But right now they didn't have many options left to them.

Deliza looked back at Mikel "We need to get there faster." She stated calmly, she didn't like the feelings she was receiving, and she didn't want any unnecessary loss of life because no one would heed her warnings.
Raven sighed, he didn't know what to make of the strange girl. But whatever she was doing, he figured it was best not to argue.

The young woman identified as Cassie made a small noice but tried to keep calm like her adoptive Father instructed as she quickly went to complete his order. After wresting the two power vents open she held onto a pipe onthe side of the sub to keep from flying backwards as their momentum suddenly rocketed.

"Your majesty!" shouted one of the guards driving the sub. "The smaller sub has put on speed! Shall we get in between it and the pirate sub?"

Faust looked through the front porthole and his eyes widened. There were three more subs heading straight towards them, reinforcements for the pirates?

Deliza bit her lip, pausing for a moment before she snapped a quick reply, her eyes flashing "Intercept and circle the Pirate's, keep their attention from the civilian sub. Whatever you do, do not get HIT!"
Raven just listened, waiting. What else could he do?

The two guard submarines swept past the smaller victim submarine, turning their attention to the pirates instead. The pirate ship attempted to move past them quickly but was forced to swerve back as one of this ships blocked it's path. Angry, the pirates shot a torpedo at the guard subs, missing them by inches. However, the torpedo shot forward and struck the turbines of Cassie and Faust's submarine.
"We've been hit!" growled Faust, struggling to control the failing submarine.

"No!" Deliza saw the civilian sub get hit, this is NOT what she wanted! Her ruby eyes glowed and a swirl of water surrounded the civilian sub, keeping it afloat for the time being. She couldn't give orders right now seeing as she had to hold her concentration, so that was up to Mikel at the moment.

Faust groaned as he pushed himself up and looked around. They weren't moving, but they were still floating. But he could already hear the slow rushing hiss of water trickling in through cracks in the hull. He hopped into action, grabbing a large bucket that was about half his size and full of a thick paste that would cement when touched by water. "Cassie, find the leaks! We need to patch them up! I think those other subs are trying to help us!"

"Those pirates are out to kill!" snarled Mikel, standing at the controls of the sub. "Fire at will! We gave them a chance to run, but if they want to start a fight then I'll be sure to finish it!" he hissed, his hair bristling and his teeth bared.

Deliza kept her eyes open and watched, keeping the civilian sub afloat was easier after she got the water in a constant motion
Mikel's a good leader. she mused to herself.
Raven glanced at Credenza and then at the twins, then he went back to watching the proceedings of what was happening right now.

Faust nodded, going to the crack and trying to patch it up, but it was growing faster than he could patch it. "Cassie! Get to the emergency exit shoots! If the sub goes under I want you at least to escape!"

The two guards ships fired on the pirate sub, hitting it squarely with everything they have. Cracking apart, the sub charged forward and smashed itself into one of the guard subs, destroying both of them.
