After a total of 19hrs of gameplay, i finally beat Kite(Tri-Edge) xp There are still questions left unanswered though.
1) WTF happen to poor Atoli in the end after being consumed by Aida? Will the Lost Ones ever be brought back from comas?
2) Is the Kite(Tri-Edge) the same Kite as the one from .hack vol 1 infection? How did Tri-Edge become what he is?
3) How come the name "Skeith"(Haseo's Avatar) the same as the last boss from .hack infection? uh, .hack Easter egg?
4) Are Bordeaux and co and Endurance alive? Endurance spoke of "she"? So its really Aida? ninja
Overall .hack GU Vol 1 is way better than .hack infection mrgreen

Congrats upon completing the first volume!!
And, I don't want to ruin the plot, but most of your questions will be eventually answered.
{Or you'll just kinda figure it out}

Atoli... that one killed me 2. She's ok but acting strange and cant talk and her arm is all messed up in really life too.
Endrance is cool!!!!
I dont know how tri-edge became what he is... im curious too....
not telling you anymore buy the 20 dollar game dude!!!!!!
