Due to the near inactivity of staff, as well as the general "deadness" of the guild, Michelle has authorized me to act as I see fit. Most of the staff has seemed to have moved onto other things in their lives. Thier presence here is missed, but still, I wish them well in whatever they shall do from this point onwards. As for myself, speaking as the nearly sole active officer, I have decided that I alone cannot continue to effectively run the guild. And so, I have decided that it is in the best interests of all to close the doors, and seek out a new owner whom may perhaps do with this guild as they may see fit. As for the remaining applicants, I see but one remains, which I will personally tend to. At this time, I also wish to thank the many people whom have provided support in one way or the other. Without you, this guild, and charity, would not have run as smoothly as it has. I wish you the best of luck in whatever endeavours you partake in. Last, but by no means, least, a posthumous thanks to the lady whom made all this possible, Theresa Winters. Even today, her presense is felt, and I personally still aspire to her example, as I suspect others do. Now, let us all take something from here. I mean not in terms of gold and items, but rather, the friendships and common bonds that have been forged here, as well as lessons taught by others, in one way or another. I wish each and every one of you the best, and hope that I shall see you out on the electronic road, as it were. Mayhaps we shall meet again. And perhaps from the ashes of this, something even better may be borne. HOLD IT!
Some one brought up the idea, why not change the name and just make it a guild to hang out and share your interests??? I think that is an awesome Idea!!! Very sad news to hear... I will miss this guild. Many friends were made here, and one friend was lost. I made good memories while conversing with the members of this guild, and I hope to continue contact with them. I hope to continue seeing everybody in the thread.
I was hoping that I would never have to see this guild close.

It is unfortunate, as there seems to be a lot of potential for good to come of the guild. However, this is far too big for one person to manage effectively. For now, it is very slow. However, should it one day pick up, I would be far too understaffed to keep up with donation demand.

Well as it were, when the guild opened its doors, 3 beautiful goddesses started this guild, now the number is 1. My sister has passed away, Another has drifted off to other things, and the third is still here, and was trying to keep things afloat. I tried to come in and take my sisters place as head of the guild, but was quickly overwhelmed. Many users do not know thiis, but Theresa used her own money, from her paychecks, to buy monthly collectibles for people, or to sell them to donate gold to users that were questing older items. She spent I would say, close to $7,000 USD total in the guilds run, and loved spending it too. Her spirit and that of Celestia Whitesword , Kira Lynn Winters (smooches baby), Catz, and many others that not only asked for donations, but also started donating themselves, The many friends to us all, Must be commended, as they made this guild what it is and was, a place....a refuge from gaia proper, where you could be at ease, and talk to a Goddess..... heart heart heart

And, as the edit to my post says, that is a worthy idea, and could potentially be the guild 2.0. 3nodding
And, to add my own thing to what Michelle has said, Terry indeed devoted a lot of real life money to help sustain the charity, which, at this time, none of us can hope to duplicate. And, as the sole "goddess" of the original 3 - though personally, I'm uncomfortable with reffering to myself as such sweatdrop - I wish to see this to whatever this may become.
And, with that said, I'm not fully opposed to seeing some part of the original philantrophic aspect applied to "Celestial Bodies 2.0". However, I feel ill-equipped to truly keep up with such on a full time basis. O_o And so, such would require one whom could indeed deliver consistently upon it. And thus, my concerns in regard to the guild as an ongoing charity.
And now, I shall turn over the floor to everyone, and hear their thoughts and concerns.

Hiya everyone!
Sorry for the absence, but I've been really busy outside of gaialand.
I've really lost my flare for this sight, I was banned not that long ago .. (Again) for something apparently that I did a long time ago involving my OMG.
*sigh*
This is the onlyl accuont I have left and I have nothing on this account (my items are glitched - so you won't see me changing. lol), because I thought it was gona get banned after the first banning.
Anyhow long stories- involving "friends" screwing me over... (Again)
So now that I'm forcefully back on this account this is who you'll see posting around here.
It's funny now that I've been banned and have nothing, I've actually visited this sight more often.
As you know I have my own dead and dying Science guild, which I spend most of my time at - it seems my efforts are failing.
I will drop in here more often as this is the place where most of the freinds here were actually really my friends.
I miss you all and hope you all are doing well.
HOpefully we can chat sometime.

I am so very glad to see that the guild will remain and grow stronger. :3 I hope many more of the guild members will return soon!
Though I may not be much help as I don't make a lot of gold or money, but if there is something needed in the guild, I can try to help. Just ask.
