Coldfire is the robotic body made by Xanatos to house Desdemona's soul, as a means of repaying Goliath for saving Alexander from Oberon. After Alex transferred Desdemona's soul to Coldfire, she accompanied Coldstone in her new body in pursuit of Coldsteel. Coldfire and Coldstone plan to eventually join the Manhattan Clan, but only once Coldsteel is no longer a threat ("Possession"). It bears a striking resemblance to Desdemona's original body, and can shoot out flames in battle.
Coldsteel is the robotic body made by Xanatos to house Iago's soul, as a means of repaying Goliath for saving Alexander from Oberon, though Xanatos likely had other motives as well.
After Alex transferred Iago's soul to Coldsteel, he eagerly left Castle Wyvern to create fresh havoc, but Coldstone and Coldfire went in pursuit of him to prevent him from endangering innocents ("Possession"). A few weeks later, Coldsteel arrived at the Scarab Corporation, seemingly summoned by Xanatos ("Reunion"). At some later point, Coldsteel will become somehow involved with Coyote 5.0, probably through an alliance.
It bears a striking resemblance to Iago's original body, and is equipped with metal tentacles that can repair themselves when damaged through nanotechnology similar to that used by Matrix.
Coldstone most closely resembles the gargoyle Othello, his original dominant personality. Roughly half of his body has been replaced with robotics. Coldstone's wings, part of the left half of his head, his right eye, his right arm, most of his left leg, the end of his tail and much of his torso are all cybernetic parts, along with smaller pieces throughout his body. Most of Coldstone's robot parts resemble the corresponding parts on Othello, though he is missing the horn and hair on the left side of his head and his wings are smaller and more angular. Coldstone had a couple of feature borrowed from the Steel Clan, including a retracting arm cannon. Coldstone's robotics are metallic grey, red, and gold. His remaining body is re-animated stone, not flesh. (Hence Demona's line "You are cold stone brought to life.") This can be hard to tell, since Othello's skin color is very similar to Coldstone's current coloration.
