So, I've been pondering this forum for a while and I've been a little disappointed that nothing has been going on in it. Most folks here are already active over on the general LoTR forums of Gaia, so we are probably just getting our LoTR fixes over there.

But one thing I can't get a fix of over there is RPing in Middle-earth. The ones that are already going here seem to be dead. So, I'm going to do something about it.

I'm recruiting for a new RP, one set post Ring War in the fourth age. The locale is Ithilien, based around the newly established city of Minas Estel, although Henneth Annûn, Minas Morgul, and the new Elven settlement of Galenost are fair game as well. The year will be 15 of the Fourth Age.

All of the canon characters from the books will be NPCs, so you'll need to create a character. Please, no blood relations to any of the canon characters and no, I repeat no magical powers. This is LoTR, not D&D. Any race is available as long as you can have a plausible back story for why they are in Ithilien. The only exceptions to this are Valar and Maiar (mainly because there is no reason I would accept for them mucking about in fourth age Middle-earth, with three exceptions, but they would be NPCs anyway).

I'll be starting up a thread in the RPing area of the forum to give a little bit more information and for a form for everyone making characters to use, so please go see the thread there entitled "Ithilien Adventures Setup Info."
