Anyone else read the comic that takes places after the series ended? I finished up to issues 3, and I'm stunned.
SPOILERS BELOW Highlight to read
I was just stunned by Elisa breaking it off with Goliath in Issue 1. I mean I can see it from her point of view. Goliath couldn't give her everything she wanted from a relationship. Not a family, which Elisa is revealed to want one day. I am actually impressed that they left in the scientific fact that animals that are very different in Chromosome build wouldn't be capable to reproduce. I was also a little surprised by how gory the next chapter was when Goliath got stabbed. It was very gory, but I lived through it with a very sweet make up scene between Elisa and him when they knew they were meant for the other. Awwww. I even heard from the creator that at a convention he is hinting at Elisa and Goliath are going to adopt when Gargoyles are going to be a little bit more excepted by the humans.

Greg also mentioned in "Ask Greg" that he plans to have them sort of get "married" later down the line.
It's a really interesting relationship these two have.

Its one of those couples you want to do fanart and such with, but at the same time you want to leave it to the creator to work with. Or at least I feel like that. xd

That's one of the good things about the story's transition into a comic book. It's less sensored and is able to discuss, more openly, Elisa and Goliath's cross species relationship. It seems to tackle the age-old question of wether or not they could actually reproduce.

I really don't think they could reproduce on their own. Goliath and Elisa are two very diffrent species after all. Mind you they DO live with/near Puck. >_>

Mind you they DO live with/near Puck. >_> I am a science nerd and believe me I could also point out they shouldn't even actually be attracted to the other romantically. But I don't because that just ruins the fun. Besides, I think adoption is just fine. Nothing wrong with that, lol.

I don't know if you forgot but... remember the episodes of the gathering? Things got a little complicated with him after that remember?

Ah, but there's the loop hole. He's able to do magic while he's teaching baby Xanatos. twisted Tell me that wouldn't make for a fun "lesson"... And let's not forget the complications of putting the genes of an egg-laying species into the body of a live-bearing mammal. confused
