I honstly can say I love how they added MacBeth into the show. He is a much more likely character than in the actual play. He was much more greedy, which did lead to his downfall. He was a very likable character not to meantion he looked pretty fine in his armor. JK.
What do you think of his character?

MacBeth is my absolute favorite human character. What I love the most about him was that he was a bad guy, but he was also a good and honorable man. And that's what eventually turned him good. Unlike Demona, who can't let go of her hatred for ANYTHING, MacBeth was willing to narrow his aggression to just Demona because really she was the only one who betrayed him.

Haha, is that me you're referring to? XD
Yes, MacBeth is definitely one of my favorites. He's very cool and awesome and Scottish.
I have a sheet somewhere that compares the historical MacBeth to Shakespeare's MacBeth. The Gargoyles MacBeth is actually a mix of the two, which is really cool.

Wow, I didn't think anyone else liked MacBeth as much as I do. Yes, he's definately a great character. My favorite, followed by Xanatos. I'm hoping he'll have an important role in the current comic series, you know other then that recycled news cast debate scene.

I'm sure he will though, Demona's still alive so he'll have to be in it.

I haven't had the privilege to read the comics, but I thought I heard somewhere that all the stuff that happened post Hunter's Moon was dumped as far as the comic is concerned because Weisman wasn't involved in it? Or was that just wishful thinking on my part? I don't really think of MacBeth as a "bad guy". That's one of the things that made Gargoyles so awesome: It's "villains" were all portrayed as very sympathetic characters. Even (and sometimes especially) Xanatos, but MacBeth is where it is possible the most apparent. He's...really just a good guy who isn't always on their side.

You're referring to the Goliath Chronicles, not Hunter's Moon. Greg Weissman was involved in the first episode of the Goliath Chronicles, which is why the first issues of the comic start just like the Goliath Chronicles. But then after the first episode, for some reason, Disney dumped Greg and put someone else in charge of the story, making the Goliath Chronicles the crap pile it is today. Makes me glad it's not considered canon anymore. I'm certain the comic is going to be MUCH better.

I really hope Gargoyles doesn't die again.

Obviously "Hunter's Moon" would be included. I just said "post etc." because I couldn't remember what the other series was called. Which shows how "great" it was rolleyes But anyways, yeah, that's basically what I meant.
