Starting Notes: Well....it comes and goes. At the start it was fairly good, but soon got repetitive, but then when I was about to give up, it start to get good again, and then i got a lot better. I like it.

Synopsis: Aono Tsukune is a human enrolled at the Yokai Academy, but little does he know, it's actually a school for Demons! The demons are all in a human form, and in addition to learning how to blend in with human society, they also learn normal school teachings. The one big rule is that they are forbidden to reveal their true form, and the school otherwise would seem normal. Tsukune, fearing for his life, decides to flee, but something makes him stay. 'Something' is Akayashi Moka, a cute vampire addicted to his blood. The roasry attached to her necklace seals her super powerful vampire form, and it seems only Tsukune can remove it.

Review: So, as I said, when you start out this series, the plot is remniscent of Mx0, it's got a bit of fansercive, it had low quality action scenes, and vague indication of a deeper storyline. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable. As I got into vol. 3, fights began to take more than one chapter, storylines grew longer, and characters developed. New people that were cool and imposing came in, and older characters began to return. About halfway through Season 1 (The first 10 volumes) I said to my self...Damn...this is pretty sweet. If you love creatures of the night, this is definatly worth looking into.

Closing Notes: Vampires, werewolves, succubi, witches, etc. It's got them all and a whole lot more. Each chapter is about 45 pages, so expect long periods of reading at one time biggrin
