I love my History of Modern Asia professor. Seriously. We had to pick a topic for our main thesis for the class, and I chose to do Post World-War II Japan and their media as historical memory.
And I seriously spent 3 pages out of 15 talking about how Hellsing was a revisionist WWII manga, and how Alucard is TOTALLY a metaphor for Japan.
WIN.
