A petite figure dodged along the rocks gracefully as she made up way up the rocky land. It had taken her a long time to get to the mountains that were way behind the forest she usually hung out in, but she had managed to get there. It was tiring, but she had hitched a ride here and there and surprisingly, there was even a bus type thing that drove way up here! She had heard the word "tour" but missed the rest of the loud voice speaking because two girls began to giggle loudly.
Izuzu had heard that the mountains were a beautiful sight in the winter, lightly dusted with icy snow. But Izuzu didn't just want to observe the tall, looming rocks in the far, shadowy distance, she wanted to see it upclose.
Even after the whole icy river accident with Toushiro, Izuzu just couldn;t stay away from the icy cold cry of winter.

Toushiro walked to the bus stop waiting for the bus to arrive. He had a small felt bag that was hand stitched by Lily with small buttons to keep the stuff from falling out. inside had a small towel bit, spare clothes, mouse wash and, of course, clean underwear. It slung over his right shoulder as his hands stayed tucked in his sleeves.
a few moments later, a bus arrived. He paid the fare and grabbed a seat near the end of bus. He would sit here for quite a bit as it would take quite a bit to get up to the mountains. He placed his bag on his lap with a sigh. He had wished his family had come but they only had a single ticket to the resort up in the mountains. He looked out the window and saw the mountains that lay in the far areas where he couldn't see well.

Izuzu stopped to rest for a bit, catching her breath and enjoying the quiet scenery. That is, until a group of humans came rumbling by. Quickly dashing behind a rock, Izuzu hid from view and waited for the group to pass by.
Once she was safe from being squished or screamed at, Izuzu continued to climb the winding, rocky trail.
Awkwardly enough, instead of getting colder, it was getting hotter. A little puff of steam or fog or something of the sort hit Izuzu square on in the face. She blinked a few times and turned the corner.
She was at a hot spring resort? That couldn't be right.

Toushiro also heard some humans as he saw most of the mice on the bus scramble to hide. He scrambled to a side as he saw a familiar face. It was Izuzu! He stayed hidden in his own little spot until the humans were all settled down and it was safe to head over across the aisle to his friend. He looked both ways and dashed across on all fours with his bag held in his mouth.
He slid to the side of his friend to try make sure this really was Izuzu. He moved a paw between the fog and landed it squarely onto a shoulder or body part of some sort.

Izuzu looked around blankly, she had traveled alll the way here to be cold! Not to hang out in some HOT spring. If Izuzu had real emotions, she would've been wallowing in disappointment by now.
Jumping in surprise as something touched her. In an awkward area too. She reached out blindy and got a handful of soft hair. Waving her free hand around to try and clear out a bit of the fog, she stared at Toushiro awkwardly. She looked down at his hand and sighed weirdly, "What...are you doing?"

He felt a paw grab his fur atop his head. Then a paw waving frantically. He wondered if it was Izuzu. It was! He gave her a puzzling look as she asked him the question. He looked down as saw where his hand had landed. His eyes grew wide as he blushed softly. He moved his hand away quickly and apologized with a soft bow to her. He didn't mean to touch her in inappropriate areas that weren't mean to be touched by men other than a woman's husband.
The bus stopped a hard brake as the tour guide announced that they were at the hot springs. Shiro nearly toppled over as the bus stopped and all the humans tried to get their stuff unloaded and into the resort.

Izuzu grabbed Toushiro's sleeve quietly and ulled him behind a rock as the humans came out from the giant bus with their heavy bags and loud mouths. She sighed softly and turned to look at the familiar face.
"What brings you here?" She pushed back a wispy lock of hair and looked around boredly, this set of unexpected hot springs had most definately ruined her winter adventure.

He was hauled behind a rock as the humans rushed with their bags off the bus. "My family gave me a ticket for the hot springs." He took it out of his bag and read it carefully. 'good for one couple's room complete with hot springs and all recreational activities. Must be couple.' He showed it to Izuzu as he tried to stay a little out of sight for a while...

Izuzu examined the ticket closely before saying quietly with disappointment coating her tone, "Why would you want to come here though? It's so...hot. And...not cold. You could easily enjoy a hot bath at your home couldn't you Toushiro?"
She read over the ticket once more before asking curiously, "Oh? I wonder why it says couples only. Sounds like something...a couple would want, for a honeymoon or something of the sort," she pulled back one of her braids, "Who are you taking?"

Toushiro looked at her. "It's hard to get the time to have a warm bath when you've got a bazillion crazy house mates who sometimes take a long time to shower and eat up all the hot water, even if it is just a human sink full." He said as he slung his bag over his shoulder. "i guess i'm taking you." He said to her. "I've got no one else to take." He said as he faced the other way not showing weakness to this femme. He couldn't collect the free room plus bath if he didn't have a female mouse to go with so might as well take Izuzu on an adventure.

"Hm. That's...interesting. Why did they give you the ticket if you've got no one to take?" Izuzu frowned slightly knotted her paws together awkwardly. She smoothed out her black kimono quietly and looked around at her misty surroundings boredly with her blue-gray eyes.
Not exactly agreeing to come with him, she waved a paw at him weakly and quietly said, "Ah, lets go. No point in standing out here...in the steam. Where we could...get trampled."

Toushiro wondered why they gave him the ticket anyways. "They probably didn't see the couples words on it when they gave it to me." he said as he began to walk after her 'lets go' comment. The humans had left and the driver was going soon.
He jumped down onto the ground as he watched upwards to see if Izuzu would follo, Into the safety of the outside world, where there was a mouse hot springs.

Izuzu cocked her head to one side and sighed, following after the white haired mouse quietly. She looked like a rather gloomy mouse at the moment-actually, she looked gloomier than usual. Izuzu's blank face was still clouded with the disappointment of seeing a hot spring rather than a beautiful, snow capped world atop the mountains.
She walked after him into the pale brown building and almost instantly-and rather similtaneously-a human girl and a mouse girl greeted the newest human and mouse arrivals.

The short white haired male stopped dead in his tracks as the girl greeted them. Toushiro's face winced as the mouse girl greeted with a sense of hyper-ness and a fake smile. He looked back to Izuzu who seemed... different... "What's wrong?" He demanded to Izuzu in a pristine tone of voice. He wouldn't want to make her feel more uncomfortable than he was that they had to be called a 'couple' at the hot springs.

The female mouse that had greeted the...'couple' smiled at them pleasantly as Izuzu motioned to Toushiro to hand the girl the coupon so they could go find their room. The pale girl glanced at some of the otheer guests as they chattered cheerfully and made their way to their own rooms. It was interesting actually, the human customers and the mice customers were quite alike. What would the humans think if they found out that there was another, tinier world that was sitting there, right by their feet?
Izuzu pondered the thought quietly as she seemed to ignore Toushiro's demand. She turned to face him quietly and searched his face blankly. She gave him a quick shrug of her shoulders and quietly replied, "...Nothing important. Just...disappointment. I was not...expecting to see or go to a Hot Spring..."
Izuzu let out another soft sigh and ran her small paws through the ends of her, ivory braids.
