So I bought the Season One box set of The Boondocks TV series at Target for $17.99 to go along with my purchase of "All the Rage", the latest collection, so far. I've never seen the series before, but it turned out to be a really good buy. I think the art work is very colorful and the characters stay true to the comic. I'd recommend you check out the next season smile .

lol. I have to agree. I bought the first season and just fell in love with it. The second season is just as brilliant and I recommend the comic book for all fans. ^^

The final few strips are available now in a book called "All the Rage." He also has interviews in there, and discusses the many controversies his comic has raised.

Brotta love the show its great full of genius statements and overall intelectual look at the ...how to say it stereo typed stereo types of stereo types... havent seen the comic yet...and wouldnt it be manga.... It's in the manga style, but since the artist/writer, Aaron McGruder, is American it's usually placed in the American comic strips section with Peanuts and Pearls Before Swine. I've also heard that Korean comics referred to as Manwha, even though they're mixed in with Japanese comics and listed as manga on the cover.

fma_girl36 i like that show but it isn't an anime Yeah, I know. Even though they've got an actual Japanese anime company doing the animation, it still isn't a true anime.
