Feel free to roll around in the sand or lounge around on towels in the sun. Whatever you want to do is fine by me! Just make sure you put on some sun block if your staying all day!

A young fox (Looks to be about 16 or 17) Comes running up. He jumps and lands next to this person making a sand castle, curiously looking at them as they build it. "You know, the tide will be in in about an hour... and your castle will be washed away." He innocently pointed towards the ocean, which was only about ten feet away. "I'm Earnest. It's nice to meet you." He held out his hand kindly, with a big, silly grin on his face.

She looks up at him. "The best part is when all you work getts devoured by the sea!" She shakes his hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm Kez!"

"Hello, Kez!" He said merrily. "Why is it good when the sea destroys your creation?" he said with a puzzled expression on his face. His tail was active behind him, showing his obvious curiousity and interest.

She giggled. "Cause it melts weird! When you put watter on sand it looks funny!" She ran to the water and scooped some watter with her paws and dropped it on the sand next to him. "See it gets darker and it leaves little water craters!"

"Ooohh..." He said with curiousity in his voice. "I've lived in this area for years and never noticed that. But still, after you spend hours on a castle is it really worth it to watch away?"
He shoveled some sand near him with his paws and began to try and form it. He had a very rough tower, and it suddenly crumbled. His ears fell down and he said with a hint of sadness in his voice, "I'm not very good at this, am I?"

her paw waved him to go to her. "Help me with this one and I'll teach you! You use sticks and stuff to help you and if you want really detailed stuff!" She ran to the water and grabbed wet sand. "This makes it easier to stick together!"

"Really, you will?" He inched closer. "That'd be awesome!" He said, as his oversized tail whipped from side to side with happiness and curiousity.
"I can't swim, so I normally don't come to the beach..." He said with a strong hint of sadness in his voice. "Something about the way my body is made, I just don't float."

"I don't know..." He started. "I've tried to learn before, my body just doesn't float. I think it's because of my tail; maybe it weighs me down or something. Anyways, you haven't shown me how to make a sand castle yet!" He finished, trying to change the subject away from swimming.

"OK! Grab on to my neck!" She pointed at her neck with excitement. "I'm a really good swimmer I'll hold you up while you get used to it."

"Are you positive? I think I might weigh a bit much... I certainly haven't been losing any weight over the past couple of months." He rubbed the back of his head, slightly saddened. He was far past the age most learn to swim at. His tail drooped a bit, the tip of it resting on the sandy beach beneath him.

She grabbed his hand and brought him tward the watter then stopped at the waves. She turned around and looked him in the eyes. "The sea is not a good place to learn how to swim. Unless its calm." A wave crashed behind her. "Herrmmmm. I thought I saw a lake or pond on my way here or was that a mirage." She pondered to herself.
