Contest Rules
Purpose: This forum was created to allow our members to participate in Formal and Informal guild contests.
Formal: (Guild Sponsored) A contest that is created by Urbeth, Tum-thala, and Fern Alli (Guild Contest Committee) in which the rules and guidelines of the contests are decided on and maintained by the Guild Contest Committee members. Unqualified entries will be omitted by the Guild Contest Committee. Initial judging may be conducted by the Guild Contest Committee, but final judging will be left up to all the guild members. Prizes are paid for by the members of the Guild Contest Committee. Prizes may be donated at user's discretion. No Guild Funds are used to purchase prizes for Formal Contests!
Informal: (Not Guild Sponsored) A contest that can be created by any member of the guild and the rules and guidelines for that contest are left to the member who has created it. The creator of the contests takes full responsibility for maintaining, judging, and dispersing of prizes. The Guild Contest Committee takes no responsibility for the judging, maintaining, or dispersion of prizes promised by the guild member who created the contest. If a guild member advertises a contest as a Formal contest, that contest will be deleted by the Guild Contest Committee. No Guild Funds may be used to purchase prizes for Informal Contests!
Guild Contest Committee Members: Urbeth, Tum-thalas, and Fern Alli
Discussion and Bumping: For Informal Contests, members are allowed to discuss and bump their contest, within the thread of the contest. Please do not make a new thread for discussing a contest. Any threads created to discuss a contest outside of the contest thread in the Contests subforum will be deleted by the moderators.
Guild Funds: No Guild Funds will be used as or for prizes of any contest!
