Alternate title: Astarte

I'm not starting it here, just gauging interest.

If I were to create a sci-fi RP, an episode based RP, would anyone join it? It would work like a TV show, there's a new thread for each "incident," and when said incident has come to a resolution, a new one started on a new thread and linked back, etc. Obviously, incidents are expected to take longer than a few pages.
The general plot would be something like: Deep-space telescopes have detected that radiation levels in the galactic core have exploded, and in a few tens of thousand of years, this wave will reach Earth, rendering the entire region uninhabitable, and extinguishing all life. The only safe places are the Magellanic Clouds on the edge of the galaxy, where it is hoped that humanity may escape its demise.
As soon as this was discovered, construction began on vessels to move the Earth's population. The pride of this new fleet is a massive generation ship known as the mother, named Astarte after the Greek goddess. Capable only of fast sublight speeds, the journey was projected to take many thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands of years, but its crew remains hopeful - everyone knows that space is not empty, but no one knows what the Astarte may encounter on its way.
