Just thought, "why not have a thread where people can post their pics?"
So here is zee thread where you can post your R/L pics. You can post as many as you want at any given time. People can comment pics posted, please try not to quote the pics too many times as the page starts to stretch.
Anyways, I'll post mine in the next post.
Just remember: Try to keep things on topic

A grascale picture of me for Photography class http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d76/Nuactna/000_1982.jpgMe, I like me, But I have no flattering pictures of me (p.s. i just put it as a link as it was stretching the page.. sorry, just figured it would be easier for everyone when we post..) I turned a Phone into a dragon, it was so much fun. This was the phone, I turned it into the dragon above, yes, I love it. I would show pictures of me and emi and Caitlin at Prom, but I don't know if Emi would want me too. However I can show pictures of myself being an idiot, I'll have to ask her if I can show people her pictures. They're great. Now we can both be loser's!!! blaugh

Well, seeing as you lot are doing it... This is me... Yes, I know I have acne, thanks. This is also me... with longer hair... at a party... where questionable things happened. And this is an example of my art... Yeah, not legal, but big deal. some idiot wrote over it, though... and now it has been painted over by the cops. Bitches.

Grafitti is just as beautiful as one by the masters, if done without the knowlage of the city. We had a dragon mural on the roof of the old prison before it burned down, that was absolutely amazing...

i will be the first to admit that a lot of graffiti is really awesome. Some of it is even better done then some of the famous paintings that are usually amazing to look at. I think it is a cool form of visual art and even if it is against the law i still appreciate it.
Ha.. do you know that a piece of paper with a black dot is a famous work of art? I saw it in one of the art musems in New York City... I was like, what? How the hell is that a great piece of art. Then I heard some people next me saying things like `well personally, i think the artist was feeling sad and depressed when they did the piece.` I was like gonk seriously... wtf?!?? But one piece of art that I was totally overly excited about seeing was Starry Night done by Vincent van Gogh. I seriously wanted to cry when I saw it. I took a few pics of it on my phone.. i would post them but sadly my phone was turned off a few months ago when my gf and i stopped paying our bill as we do not have a job at the moment. Once I get my phone turned back on i will have to post the pics. Seeing it in a text book and then up close in real life is definitely something everyone should experience if they are artsy people. P.S. this is the famous starry night painting for anyone who does not know the title but may have seen the painting before (if you take art at all in high school you hear about it or see it at least once or twice)

Here are some the pics i took in New York City biggrin I wish I could go back there.. it was an awesome experience. This is a pic I took while on the top floor of the Empire State Building.. it was so high and so freakishly scary. But it had a really, really nice view. The sign you see when you get to the island of the Statue of Liberty biggrin A cool clothing place I wanted to go to in Time Square crying my friends hated me though and would not go with me (if you cannot tell, it is a asian fashion store) The fire station that is right across from the 911 site John Lennon`s memorial in Central Park Radio City.. cool place that had many dancers there, where a lot of them started off.. I cannot remember what they are called right now though. Time Square.. you can guess this spot, as it is shown every year on new years even, showing the ball drop. I wish we had gone for new years, that would have been awesome. (we went April11 to April 14th) This was me and some friends outside waiting for the ferry that would take us to the statue of liberty island. *notice I have a lip ring? i had it for 4 months, had to take it for my surgery and it ended up growing in, in the 3 hours i was in surgery) So yeh.. if you want to see some more i may post some more. lol

Even though I haven't been on in... can't remember I will still say, Since I plan on going into the fine arts as my college major, I may have a bi-ist (cannot spell) opinion but I personally think that most modern or interepretable art SUCKS ******** MONKEY BALLS!!!
A ******** BLACK DOT ON A PIECE OF PAPER IS ABSOLUTE CRAP AND GRR.... I don't hate the artists, I never could because I can understand why some of them do what they do. The people I hate are those stuck up self absorbed little bastards who don't make art, but make art popular. They make CRAP popular. I hate them so much. We had one guy come to our school to visit with our teacher and he was criticing our work that was up in the room. My teacher is awesome and he knew I absolutely hated this b*****d, and he asked the guy what he thought the message of one of the pieces up was. He was like "It's about the artist's hatred for america and anti-patriatism, easily" and I was like " really, hmmm... I think it's a circle and a bunch of bright colours put together so that they look somewhat appealing, plus I believe that the artist just really likes bright colours." and he laughed at me, so much. And he was like "why you know who did this." and I was like "yep, I did" and he stopped laughing and turned to my teacher and went on talking about some gallery. I hate people like that who will justify a used tissue as art, because they can "interepret it's meaning" with their superior "intellect". God I hate them, and Graffiti is ******** amazing, I love it. Some of the stuff I've seen is pretty damn awesome.
ok...phew... rant over *bows* thank you sweatdrop

Chris... That was ******** AMAZING! *standing ovation* I don't give a flying ******** if you are biased, I agree with you that those stuck up little bastards think that they are sooo amazing because they decided to get an art degree! The thing that happened to you happened to be as well, only it was a book critic and they were looking over one of my short stories. "Well, I thought it was an okay story, but the characters did not interest me." She was talking to my elder sister. "Really," I said, "Because they shouldn't." "Why not?" "Because you kind of need to be able to imagine things when you read a book, not just see the ink on the page." "You sound like you are the author, little boy." "I AM the author, ignorant woman." She walked away. b***h.
