With a new holiday coming up soon, a new holiday thread will undoubtedly appear to help celebrate the occasion. What can us mods do for you and that thread, to make it more enjoyable? Is there anything you want to see?

By the way, this guild is severely underfunded. We cannot use funds in the guild bank that you donate to at the bottom of the guild homepage (that can only be used to buy subforums...we could buy 33 subforums with it, but that doesn't help us at all). Our actual usable gold is less than 1500, and most of that is from my playing Jigsaw on it...
If you would like to donate to help us fund the holiday and future events, send gold (or items or whatever you may have lying around that we can use to make money, we're broke) to Shoujo Ai no Kifu ("Shoujo Ai Donations").
She has the fifth and final post on the Guild Consitution at the top of the main guild forum, if you can't find her. Lex donated everything we used to dress her--she's all in blue. :3

Basically, to give a rundown of what we're saying, the Shoujo-Ai and Yuri Guild does semi-regular threads during Gaian events. We generally create an image posting thread in the event forum and do an open chat for guild members and non-members who find our thread to hang out, talk about anything, and get to know each other. Everyone's welcome to share PG-13, Gaia-safe shoujo-ai pictures and request any pictures or themes they'd like to see.
These threads have been popular in the past because of the pictures (duh), the extremely random and often fast-paced chatting, and opportunities to meet people. They're also great ways for you guys to help us advertise for the guild. ;]

CONTESTS.
Like, drawing or writing contests, maybe. Or one of those 'WHAT'RE THEY SAYING!?' pictures where you have to come up with something two characters with speech bubbles are saying. We could also try and come up with some weird, totally odd pairing idea and say 'Whoever can make this picture, but with a christmas theme, wins.'
For example: 'Create a drawing with Fransizka von Karma (Phoenix Wright 2&3) and Misty (Pokemon). celebrating the holidays in their own way. *HINT HINT*.'
Iunno. Random, crazy ideas for Yuri with a holiday theme seems too awesome to pass up. 4laugh

So like how about finding and lining words game?
The mods can determine which threads they want to put the hidden words at.These words should have special chacteristics (Ex: bold,size 24,italic, green).
Give the members some clue to where you can find that words.
Whoever find and line the words correctly (to a sentence) first get a prize!

Contestants should be limited to 5 people (for every 1 contest) with specific time period (Ex.10 min -15 min)
Basically we choose a person to be the HOTTIE of the thread.
That Hottie will have to deal with 5 horny contestants who try their best to win her/his heart.
The Hottie has to be neuteral and act as if she/he not interested to the best of her/his ability.
The members who's not a contestant should be the judge.
We can run a "Who do you think is the best Flirter?" vote when the contest end.
Winner win a prize!
Ps: I think Kage should be the Hottie just cuz I think many members would like to "get to know" her better rolleyes

We might pull multiple simultaneous contests (like the flirting contest) or variations of some of these contests.

I'm thinking we'll do a guild costume-type thing.
Like the mod uniform we pulled a while back (shown as "The Shoujo-Ai Rangers" in the "Meet the Mods!" thread).
The current idea is a reindeer theme (Wing and Mika already have theirs on, I think). I already have a costume I might try for this, so.
The mods at the very least should be doing this, but everyone else is free to do it too. ^__^ It'd be fun as just something to do with the guild. And the antlers are only about a 1000g.
